Totally off topic, but you will love Dave Clawson as your new OC at UT. I'm a Richmond grad and have loved how DC has turned around the program, adapted the O to meet his personnel and ran a first class operation, emphasizing academics and good character. Congrats.... Now, back to our regular QX programming :)

Re: OTD [bjakey] by Car_man on Wed Nov 08 03:08:46 PST 2006

Hi Bjakey. OTD stands for "Out The Door" This term is used to describe the selling price of a vehicle. It means that the price that is mentioned includes everything that the consumer would have to pay to drive "out the door" with their new car or truck, including its selling price, tax, and any sort of fees that have to be paid. OTD prices are a good way to compare the selling prices of vehicles when comparison shopping with multiple dealers. Looking at the OTD price prevents dealers from low balling consumers with a great looking price for a vehicle and then tacking on all sorts of fees later on. Car_man Host Prices Paid Forum

Tough Decision M35x or M45 by carchallenged2 on Sun Nov 13 23:24:47 PST 2005

Forgive my Cross Posting wasn't sure which thread. 1) I am not sure what I should do maybe someone can convince me either way. I am looking at getting the M35X or the M45 both Premium Packages. I live in Southern CA so snow is not a big problem, however rain can be, rare but it does happen. I wouldn’t mind driving to the mountains occasionally or even to other places with bad weather, ie UT, CO and KS. Its not that I really need to have the extra horses either so can someone help me out? 2) I am going to have to order either one, can you give me an idea of what to expect? I have never ordered a car, do I need to purchase the car first or is there a deposit? What about length of time? 3) I am looking at putting a substantial amount down. Anywhere from 80%-90% down. What kind of price should I expect to pay for a)M35x w/Premium or b)M45 w/ Premium Package
