Buying a car from a Infiniti Car Dealer
Great deal on a fabulous vehicle. Same as mine except mine has bench 2nd row seats. I have 7k miles on mine, maybe the tops for a new one in this forum? This vehicle far exceeds my expectations. Drives like a luxury car not a truck like my 2008 did, which I still really liked just not near as much as the 2011. No issues at all to report. I love all the features, the looks, the handling is great as well. I drove it in the Mountains in NM on vacation and it handles in this mountain twisties like a sports car. I simply love this vehicle and am glad to own one,. Maybe my favorite of the 12 Infiniti's I have owned over the past 17 years. Great job Infiniti
Hauled five adults, 4 dogs and a load of luggage from Dallas to Taos NM. This vehicle continues to exceed my lofty expectations of it. In the mountain roads, this baby runs through the curves like a sports car..,.. wait let me correct that...better than a 1987 mazda Rx7 Turbo I owned. It handled the turns like I couldnt believe. I was able to run 20 to 30 mps over the recommended speed in twisties up and down the canyon running east of Taos on US 64. Great for the long road trip as well, handled the crowd comfortably and mileage was very good for load and speed I was driving. I love this vehicle, it truly is a replacement for a large luxury car in addition to being best in class SUV to my knowledge. 6500 miles on mine already and no issues at all. This black/black beauty with bench second row and entertainment/ delux touring and tech packages is one great improvement over the others in this class.
Randy, I worked with Infiniti Superstition Springs. They are in Mesa, AZ. They contacted me after I sent a request for quotes from Edmunds.com (I heard from the sales manager and then from one of the sales people - John). I ended up ordering the car from them and having it shipped to NM. The other dealers did not seem as willing to work on the price and some refused to fax or email me written offers. I wouldn't trust anything verbal - get it in writing, including the vehicle VIN. Some just never got back to me. I contacted Infiniti of Superstition Springs, Infiniti of Scottsdale, Pinnacle Infiniti and Infiniti of Peoria.
Well, the dealer gets charged for them so you would have to pay invoice for them I guess. IIRC there is drilling involved in the installation, so they can't be easily removed and not leave a hole. Look around the lots in AZ or NM and see if all the cars have splash guards on them or not. Perhaps the port that services your area does not add them to every car like they do in my area? Are you paying cash? If so, then I am not sure about that. If you are financing or for sure leasing you would fall under whatever rate is in place at the time you sign the paperwork. I wanted a 6mt sedan last June and could not find one like I wanted. Well I found one near New Orleans but the dealer would not deal on it. A dealer ordered me a car like I wanted with no obligation, it arrived in October home of the worst 6mt lease rates of the year so I passed on it. By the time the rates got nice, they had already sold the car. If your AZ dealer can't snag one in transit then it could be 2-3 months to wait for it to arrive. Dennis
I posted under deals before I saw this board. Here the dealer expects MSRP. Does anyone have info in other NM or southwest states? Also I am interested in the expected depreciation of this car. Any info from people who leased the car in terms of residual value in 2 or 3 years?
