Buying a car from a Chevrolet Car Dealer
Doesn't sound like that bad of a deal. You have to consider that the car was sitting for well over two years on that dealer lot though. I guess you can argue that you will still get the full warranty and everything. I'm assuming you bought it "new" and not "used"? My mother is in the market and it is a toss up for Impala or Ford Fusion. I used to own a 2001 Malibu and absolutely hated that piece of junk. I vowed never to own a Chevy again. It was part of that HUGE dexcool lawsuit after all. I'm pushing her to the Fusion, but have heard good things about Impala.
I think the 06 Maxx LT is essentially the same car as the 06 Maxx LS (with a few minor differences).
According to Edmunds, a new 2006 Maxx LT has an invoice price of $19,681. The customer cash is $750 and the March Madness promotion can add another $500 to that. Assuming that a new 06 Maxx LT can be bought at invoice, its price would be $18,431 after rebates, which is some $2,500 more than what you paid one year ago. WOW!
