Re: VPP info [drewdogg808] by ecowboy on Fri Apr 15 20:28:01 PDT 2011

I just did a VPP purchase for a loaded 2011 QX56. It came with Theater, Touring, and Technology. Black on Black, captain's chairs, and optional wind deflector, cargo/first aid kit, illuminated kick plates, tinted windows, and bumper protector. MSRP was $74,665 and the VPP price was $69,135 also with no dealer prep fees...so I saved $5530+500 dealer prep. I got 3.1% 63 month financing. No trade in. I tried to deal with Sewell in Houston but they would not offer VPP for a QX56 equipped with anything better than the theater package. We googled the internet and found this vehicle in Louisville, KY at Swope Infiniti. They were willing to honor VPP so I drove 2400 miles roundtrip to trailer the vehicle home to Texas. Wife is loving the QX56, especially the technology package components. Thanks for all the informed posts here on this forum which definitely provided the necessary info I needed for my purchase.

Re: 2011 G37 Journey Coupe [rocknrolla] by kyfdx on Tue Mar 22 18:12:15 PDT 2011

If you have the spare cash, MSDs can be a good deal.. I'm not sure what the MF discount is for IFS, any more.. but, figure $4500 would knock .0009 off your MF.... That could save $60-$70 per month... If your due at signing is just $1200, your deal looks great... be sure to take the 15K/yr, if you think you might need it... It's a lot more to pay for miles at lease end..... regards, kyfdx

rocknrolla.. That looks like a great deal on a $46K MSRP car.. How much money is due at signing? regards, kyfdx

Re: G37 Lease - Is this a good deal?? [tlb5] by kyfdx on Thu Mar 17 04:18:50 PDT 2011

tlb5 makes good points... As far as the upfront tax? Acquisition fees are usually taxable, and that conveyance (Connecticut for document) fee is probably taxable, as well.. With all the dealer-added options... you might have a little more room to work on price.. Using that downpayment money for MSDs would be better than a CAP cost reduction.... But, I'm not sure if IFS has a minimum money factor.. You may not be able to make 9 deposits. Each additional security deposit would knock off .0001 .... Saving you around $5/mo. for each one you make (plus, you get the security deposits back at end of lease).
