Is this a good deal?? by texastsx on Sat Dec 18 17:27:24 PST 2010

So I'm getting an offer for a new base tsx for $25,562.23 and after TTL (and fees) $27,550. The only thing included is tint and wheel locks. That price does not include the $500 AmEx gift card offer, which essentially nets the offer to $27,050 DO. I've searched far and wide around Texas for someone to beat that price but I just can't find anyone. Do you guys think I should wait for more cash to dealer from the manufacturer? Does anyone actually think the dealer will increase the holdback money from $1250 (plus $500 GC) to more than $1750, which will make it worth the wait? Also, has anyone in NM, OK, AR or LA gotten an offer cheaper walkout than this? All of these Southern states think it's a good idea to have ridiculously high sales taxes for cars and I'm not about to drive to CO for a few hundred bucks. I really appreciate the help!!

2010 TSX Base - $27,310 by easman61 on Sat Dec 26 16:31:36 PST 2009

Just had a tremendous buying experience at Fayetteville, AR Acura dealer where I bought my third car. Great guys and no BS. Took the information from this forum and some online proposals I had and was able to get a deal I'm very happy with. All weather mats and splash guards were included in this price but no sales tax. Also was able to get the 2.9% financing. Thanks to all who post their experience here. It is all very helpful. Almost went crazy and bought a CPO Mercedes C350 but just couldn't justify the price differential from a new TSX. Love the way the C350 looks but just couldn't get comfortable with the reliability issues. Way too many forums with bad stories. I like to drive a car way past the warranty expiring and I think Acura is the way to go. Has been so far for us anyway. Good luck to everyone and enjoy your TSX!

Excellent deal. I paid $42500 incl. dest. and protection package plus tax and tag.IMO still a very good deal even if dest. not included.Just make sure that when you go there to purchase you purchase 2009 MDX Sport/Entertainment not 2009 MDX Sport.GOOD LUCK Best Regards, habsone

42k (incl.) dest for Sports & Ent. - How is the price? I was looking for Tech & Ent. but that is hardly available.

Do you know which salesman you dealt with? I am having very hard time them coming down to 40,200. Even if I tell them someone bought it recently from them, they asked for name... any idea how can I get them to agree to 40,200?
