A 2010 Armada SE or a 2010 Pathfinder LE w/ Nav. They are similar in price. I am not towing anything but just want a truck to replace my Altima. I had a Sequoia prior to the Altima and want to get a SUV now. Any thoughts??

Hi everyone, I'm interested in leasing an 09 Rogue SL AWD that is hard loaded with a MSRP sticker of $30,995 (every option) that has 5700 miles on it placed by the dealership/ demonstrator, but never titled. I did the back and forth salesman/ sales manager thing for about 2 hours on Friday with them finally giving me a quoted lease of: $405.00/ mth for 39 months, 1st payment down only, 12,000 miles/yr. I've never leased a vehicle before but this seemed rather high for payments based on the price of this vehicle, I was finally able to get the salesman to tell me that they had knocked the MSRP down to $27,9xx, (the residual was $18,3xx) but then again that seemed rather high figuring that the vehicle was made in July 2008 and has been sitting on the lot/ in use for a almost a year and the new 10's will be out soon. He also mentioned that I could get VPP A plan pricing if I had a close family member that worked for Nissan of which I don't. Do they verify this or can I tell a white lie? My next door neighbor does indeed work for Nissan in Canton, MS, but alas no relation, says he will vouch for me!! I was able to leave the d-ship with my sanity intact guessing that I might could get a better deal but I do LOVE the vehicle. Any other leverage I might have here? Is this a fair price? Decent lease prices? The salesman also told me the Nissan Tent Event would be off tomorrow, June 1st so not sure what difference that will make. TIA Ray

Your post peaked my interest! So what you are saying is start in "D" until you start moving, then suddenly put it in manual mode and click until you get to 6th gear?

Not sure what else to post...All I can tell you is that after everything added up including the $1,750 in rebates, , price was $22,600. Sticker was $24,090 and invoice was $22,430. If anyone can get this vehicle for $20,500 OTD (after tax, tags, destination, and processing fee), Run to your dealer!!! That would make the purchase about $18,500 or $5,500 below invoice based on roughly 6% tax. Recent previous posts had a basic 2.5 S for mid 17k. So add 1k for the convenience or 2k for the convenience 2 package. that would make the purchase at either 18.5k or 19.5k. Either way, I love this car and thats what is important. Everyone here is going to get a better deal that the last guy. Thats the way it always is!!!

Just wanted to share my recent purchse of a 08 2.5S w/ convenience plus package, splash guards, and mats. I got it over the Memorial Day weekend. Sticker was $24,090. I got it for $20,500. Its a couple hundred under invoice after the rebates. I bought from Norris Nissan in Ellicott City in Maryland. Great experience. I was literally in and out in 2 hrs. I love the car. Only question to those who own...When my bass hits on my radio (around volume 20) my driver side mirror seems to vibrate kind of easy. Is it just my car? Anyone else notice this? Thanks!!!!
