2005 Grand Caravan SXT with no other options for $379 a month for 48 months lease taxes included (Canadian). Or Grand Caravan SE with Stow 'n go (2'nd row) for $329 a month taxes included. Which do you guys think is the better deal? Should I spring for the SXT or stay with the SE? Wow!!!! I think these monthly payments sound really high, even if you're talking Canadian dollars!!!!! I think I saw GC SXT for $189/month here in Detroit for 3 year lease?? I'd keep shopping!!! As long as you have Stow N Go, I don't think you can go wrong....love mine!! Just got back from Simcoe Ontario camping....18mpg pulling loaded RV and family!! The space and flexibility is great!!

ep pricing by ro22tol on Sun Jul 17 12:42:48 PDT 2005

The EP prices are not at good as the prices that I found at the end of June. I found a dealer that would sell me a GC sxt for inovoice minus hold back (which is actually the EP price) then $3,500 in rebates MSRP $28625 Invoice $26735 rebates $3500 Invoice minus hold backs of about $1250 - rebates $3500= final price $21,995 Now the rebates are only $2,000 on the same van (thus I would have saved $1,500 by purchasing in June over July. Same dealer said wait until the rebates change again. He could not match the price quoted in June, cause the mopar rebates to the consumer were not as good. I have found that the EP is the bottom line at dealers.

below invoice in MSP by ro22tol on Mon Jul 04 21:23:57 PDT 2005

The dealer in Minneapolis actually had some good prices. I was interested in a 2005 GC SXT with options of tow group and rear power hatch. Dealer wanted $22,000 for it, that price is $1,200 below invoice and $3,500 in rebates. They pissed me off with my trade, so I didn't buy it (even though I should have). The salesman even tried one last time as I was driving off the lot!! I just didn't like the games played. They did however approach what I thought my van was worth (nada wholesale). I still may go for it, but I am going to wait and see what the new incentives are going to be on the 5th.

below invoice pricing? by ro22tol on Fri Jun 24 01:24:09 PDT 2005

I will be traveling to Minneapolis this weekend. I searched the local dealers inventories on the net, and have found one with the options i want. I e-mailed the dealership and have an appointment to check it out. QUESTION: Do you think that it is two unreasonable to ask for Invoice price minus $1,000.?? Then take the rebates off that price? Wouldn't the dealers want to get rid of there 05's this late in the model year. I don't want to make them mad at me, but yet the van is actually a year old, since the 06's will be out shortly.
