Just paid 26000 + tax + tags and all that jazz for a 2011 Acura TSX .. I thought this was an amazingg deal considering the 2010's I saw out there were similarly priced. It was end of the month thus more room to negotiate. I would def. recommend purchasing a car on the last day of the month.

I bought my car in DFW and I would suggest you do the same. I called every dealer in Texas because I was willing to drive a little to save a few hundred. All of the Houston dealers said they would not beat the Dallas prices. Okay...I'll be that guy that suggests something else. You list an Accord and an A4 as options, so it seems to me that the TSX should make the list by default. The Acura is a bit smaller than the Accord with sportier handling (like the A4), and can be had in your price range new w/full warranty and is reliable (like the Accord). 2 cents, etc.

Manufacturers' advertised leases usually to include some sort of dealer discount...however savvy consumers who are in areas that have a decent level of competition are usually able to beat these deals. If I was in the market for a 2011 TSX, I personally would shoot for a selling price of a couple hundred dollars over dealer invoice minus the available dealer cash. Typo, I did the negotiation on the phone. I didn't do the test drive and didn't even look at the car in person. There are not many Acura dealers in Orange county and I feel most of these dealers who would offer that price. That's the reason I didn't post them. I'm more than happy to give the names of dealers by email.

Prices in Dallas Ft. Worth
Looking for a 2011 TSX I4 auto base in the DFW area (4 acura dealers), I have one quote so far right at the truecar "great price" threshold of $27,500, then a few other quotes slightly above it. Is this as low as I can get it or should I push harder? Are there any incentives out there for March or upcoming for April?

I bought my 2010 TSX 4cyl base in July 2010 from Oakland Acura for $26500 with 2 year 0.9% financing. Tax, Title, and registration with accessory mudguard just under $30K. I thought was a fair deal. No haggling. They contacted me after I submitted request for a price quote online. When they told me the price, I went and drove it out in 3 hours on a Saturday afternoon.

Seems crazy to me to. Go figure. Maybe they think they can sell it at top dollar. It's the only "new" 2010 TSX tech on the lot and it's white with tan interior, a popular combination. They only have two other 2010 TSXs with tech and those are demonstrators with 5K miles. They're not doing much with them, either, and I would never go for the colors--silver and red. The sticker ... In fact, it's a good idea to put as little money down as possible when leasing. Acura definitely has a lease program on the 2011 TSX. I'm surprised that the dealer didn't tell you about it. While having our '11 Hyundai Sonata get it's 1st oil change I asked the Acura sales manager (they sell both cars+honda) if they had any info on the '11 tsx. He told me nothing official but as soon as they did he would let me know. Own a 06 tsx with 111,000+problem free miles. I am planning to get a new car for my 60th birthday in June.

Since I put on lots of miles I prefer new. I am planning on hopefully buying a new car June 2011 so I have some time to decide. I still love my tsx. Right now my one requirement is having 6 speed manual transmission. I agree the maintenance has been reasonable so far. I purchased my tsx new November 17, 2006.

Well, what do you think? Tax and license in California is about 10% of the sales price. That means your sales price would have to be about $26,400 for your numbers to work. According to TrueCar.com, invoice on a base TSX is about $28,500. Dealer cost is about $26,900. Bingo! I don't know why people moan and belly-ache about this. Why should Acura spend the money and effort to cater to such a minuscule number of potential customers? It's the same reason why they don't offer pink as a color choice for the 52 Avon salesladies and 21 baby-boomer Elvis fans who might consider an Acura.

It would be sweet if Acura woke up and offered the TSX Wagon with cTDI and 6 apd manual AWD. Maybe, they will wake up, one day. Honda diesel does not require urea, while most diesels out of Germany require urea, blue solution, with the price tag of gold, to be refilled on a regular basis.

I just bought my TSX this August. A TSX wagon will most definitely be on the short list next go around especially if Acura puts the SH-AWD on it!! Don't hold your breath.
