Here you go skh91423. Ford Credit's current base lease rate and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 011 Flex Limited 2WD with 15,000 miles per year in Southern California are 1.5% and 48%, respectively. If you want to lease you are definitely better off going with a 2011 over a 2010 model. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
The sticker price was $34,345. I got $3500 rebate for last year 2010 model. I got about $1800 off for Z Plan. Out the door price for my Ford Flex SEL was $30, 600. I love it. It has SYNC Voice Command, convenience pkg, towing pkg, and auto fold 2nd row 40/40 seats. Flex is Steel Blue Metallic and I have had 99 compliments on it. Only one jealous person said ... Read More
I am also looking at a 2011 ford flex limited duratec demo with 5.6k on it. Has tow package navigation and mats. Dealer says he can strike of 5k off the msrp-2.5k current promotion. So 42650-5000-2500 = 35150. How is this price? I didn't had negotiation, what do you think would be a better price on this one?
Greetings thefinest. Ford Credit publishes lease rates instead of money factors for the vehicles that it leases. LEase rates are just like interest rates. You can convert them into approximate money factor equivalents by dividing them by 2400. Ford Credit's October base lease rate and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 Ford Flex SEL AWD with 15,000 miles per year in its Philadelphia region are 2.5% and ... Read More

Carman, Looking to lease (possibly buy) Ford Flex. What kind of money factor and residual should I expect? If I lease, it will be 3 year, 12k per year. Want SEL with Leather, back up sensors, 40/40 second row, and nothing else. Am located in LA area and there seem to be tons of incentives out there right now. Thanks,
These are out-the-door prices for a 2010 Flex SEL with Vista Roof and FWD 33,569 (Rapid Spec 206A, Tow, FWD Steel Blue, Vista), 33,963(Rapid Spec 206A, Tow, FWD Sterling Grey, 33,832 (Rapid Spec 206A, Tow, FWD Steel Blue, Vista) 35,995 (Cinn Metallic, Rapid Spec 207A, Vista, Two TOne Roof) I have an additional $750 coupon from Ford. That's terrific. Congratulations. There's no shame in allowing dealers a little gravy, especially if a long distance dealer swap is involved. We often fail to remember we need profitable dealers too, and hopefully this weakest link in Ford's North American chain will improve. I was just looking at the new rebates for Toyota and 2010 Highlander also has 0% APR. Is the Ford flex better than Highlander. I have not test driven the highlander but i see a lot of them on the road versus the flex as i have not seen one to date. I live in the DC suburbs.
To adb3da: Treat it like a used car. Invoice less some figure. I ordered a 2010 and got it for $200 under invoice and it was brand new. Remember that you get the rebates from Ford, not the dealer, so he's not doing you any favors. I'd negotiate hard from the invoice price down. I'd start with an opening offer of $2,000 under invoice. The invoice price is what the dealer ... Read More
Many thanks to the posters on this board for all of the helpful info. Here's my experience: I discovered that, thanks to my procrastination in purchasing Ford stock, I wasn't going to be able to do an X-Plan purchase. I then did an email-exclusive negotiation of a build-to-order 2010 Flex Limited AWD (MSRP $40240), the only extra option being the White Suede Roof. The invoice on this particular one was $37901, ... Purchased a new 2010 Flex Limited w/ Ecoboost, Vista Moonroof, Park Assist, and Tow Package for ~$40K (includes $3000 in rebates). Price also includes 6 yr/100K Ford PremiumCare ESP. Good deal? So far it's everything I expected: fun to drive, handles well, and plenty of storage. Haven't yet learned all that Sync can do. I am surprised at not seeing more of them on the road here in the Northeast.
Oh I don't know, the current 1.9% for 60 months is tempting. I currently have a 2008 Veracruz FWD Limited, and although I love the vehicle, the FWD this morning in the snow has made me wish it was AWD. I started looking at the Flex, and depending on trade and such, if I could get what I want at the price I want, it would knock $100 off my monthly ... Read More
They're going to vary depending upon what promotion and when they happen to be offered. And with the Flex being so new, there's little historical data to work from. You can call almost any credit union who engages in vehicle leasing and ask them. Most have no problem sharing. I wouldn't expect a 39 month 15K residual to exceed 50% though. I figure 45% to be safe.
I find the Flex to be not just one of the highest-quality and superb-to-own vehicles available, with the vast majority of its benefit being also found in its very well-appointed base SE model for under $30,000 (by more than an eyelash). It also happens to be an exceptionally profitable vehicle for Ford, earning them some of the highest gross margins in their history. Guesstimating a vehicles "success" based solely upon how ... This is one Ford vehicle that is hopelessly overpriced. I live in the south and I see so few of these vehciles on the road or at the local Ford dealerships. The Taurus and Flex are hopelessly overpriced, too. Honestly, Ford is way too proud of its cars when competitor vehicles offering as much or more can be had for many, many thousands less. I don't get people paying 30k for ... Read More

I have been monitoring posts and pricing out the Town & Country and the Flex for a couple of years now... The demo did not have Sync, and that was a must-have for us. We bought a new 2010 Ford Flex SE. We got it with Microsoft Sync (w/o navigation screen), the towing package, and the roof rails. I agree madlock. Of course you come out with a high prices on these vehicles because they are new. Once the supply outpaces the demand, Ford will lower the price in the form of incentives. I personally think the tactic is... Price these vehicles super high, then offer incentives to what Ford really thinks the car is worth. This way they budget for the "incentive" price and if they get "MSRP" ... Read More
"...the Flex Turbo is a luxury vehicle..." Methinks not even Ford would make that claim...!! They probably wouldn't even dare put a Mercury marque on a "flex" let alone a lincoln one. "...(power being a luxury)..." Not "power" alone, NEVER...!! Or do you mean it's a luxury to be able to afford to fuel a GAS GUZZLER...?? "..Ford did what it needed to do with the EcoBoost series..." NO, Ford did what it thought at the time it needed to do with the TWINFORCE series. Even Cadillac has now abandoned the V8 and Ford knew it had to follow suite. So "now" they had a gas guzzling "TwinForce" V6 engine with V8 POWER that with gas at $4.00 could only be sold to the few "boy-racers" and turboheads ... Read More

EcoBOOST = TWINFORCE = Ford marketing SHAM...!! The stellar success of the retrograde Mustang has somehow convinced Ford that the HP race can be restarted. I've been out of the country for awhile (since Jan), but I've been watching the prices, and rebates on the Flex. By July I should be home, and will pick up where I left off at the dealers. Well, with X-Plan pricing, you at least know the maximum you should consider paying. You may also qualify for an additional $250.00 in rebates if Ford offers them in your area under the X-Plan. On that particular vehicle, there's about $1,200 in holdback to the dealer, so you've got that much negotiating room until you hit the theoretical best conceivable deal. However, those usually only occur when you find the combination ... Read More
In January I test drove a Flex limited 2WD. It really was comfortable, and didn't feel nearly as big as it is. I was very impressed with the quality of this Ford... past Fords (and GM's) were a disappointment! I'm currently overseas, and I'll probably replace my Scion Xb with a bigger box (Flex) in Aug. Surprisingly the mileage isn't to far from the Xb (if people are being honest). The ... Read More
