Hi rdel1. Ford Credit's current base lease rate and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 Mustang Coupe V6 with 15,000 miles per year are 1.0% and 60%, respectively. I doubt that you will be able to get a better deal on a lease of this car through a broker than you would be able to negotiate through a dealer and Ford Credit. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying ... Hello ajpbf7. Ford Credit's current base lease rate and residual value for a 24 month lease of a 2011 Mustang Coupe V6 with 10,500 miles per year are 1.0% and 62%, respectively. I don't think that the addition of the Premium Package makes a difference. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum

Excellent idea on your part. Let's get this rolling again, if we can. Would you believe that just two days ago, I took delivery. The wait was just enough over the limit to make me wonder if I will ever special order a Ford again! Am I off base to be thinking other manufacturers might be more interested in getting to such special orders?
Hello infalliblesal. Ford Credit's current base lease rate and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 Mustang V6 Coupe with 12,000 miles per year in its New York region are 6.5% and 56%, respectively. As you can see, Ford Credit publishes lease rates for the vehicles that it leases instead of money factors. You can convert its lease rates into approximate money factor equivalents by dividing them by ... Read More
Hi ajpbf7. The area that you are in plays a huge role, particularly on this car. Ford Credit is only providing lease support on the 2011 Mustang in a select few regions right now. Unfortunately, I don't believe that Kentucky is one of the areas where Ford is providing lease support on this model. If that is indeed the case, then you definitely don't want to lease one because Ford's standard ... Read More
FYI, today's Houston Chronicle (Aug 28) has a promo ad for 2011 Mustang with MSRP $23,390 for $19,495, ($1000 rebate, $2895 dealer discount). Champion Ford.
Hi billybobjones. The problem is that in most areas Ford is not currently providing lease support on the 2010 Mustang. As a result, if you were to lease this car through Ford Credit, you would have to use its standard lease rates...which as you have seen are absolutely terrible. If you want to lease, the Mustang probably isn't for you. Having said that, you may want to wait until tomorrow before ... Read More

Hi runnernic. Ford is not currently providing any lease support on the 2011 or 2010 Mustang. As a result, if you were to lease one through Ford Credit right now, you would have to use its standard lease program...which is pretty bad. If you want to lease, the Mustang probably isn't for you. If I was in the market for one right now, I personally would finance a 2010 Mustang GT ... Read More
hey everyone.... i am interested in leasing the 2011 ford mustang GT premium.... i need 12,000 miles a year adn 36 months... can anyone give me an idea of how much the lease payments would be monthly with no cap cost reduction thank u!
The very positive reviews of the new V-6 2011 Mustang have both surprised and delighted me. My last Ford was a Sunliner with the 312-inch TB Special V-8. Does the new V-6 get a new (and hopefully improved) 6M transmission? My current 6M (out of Marysville, OH) is damn near flawless (with a GMSFM assist), but planning ahead won't hurt. all the best, ez....
Hi billybobjones. Ford is not currently providing lease support on the 2011 Mustang. That means that you definitely do not want to lease one right now. Doing so would be very expensive. You would be better off financing one through Ford Credit at 0% for 3 years, 3.9% for 4 years, or 4.9% for 5 years. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
Video takes too long to load and stalls briefly. There are many other videos on the net of the car. Own and am perfectly happy with an '05 GT Premium. Can't wait to try out the new 5.0 tho. WOW - I like your choice of colors. I'd like a white/blue or a blue/white combo. My V-6 is a 3.8. The 2000 brochure states the V-6 only puts out 190 HP. I find that a little hard to believe. The exhaust tone is pretty good - I think it sounds HOT going down the road! Sorry your wife can't drive a stick. I drove a stick all my life (I ... Read More
I own a 2010 Mustang GT, and put 8000 miles on'er. My girl has a 2005 Ford Focus, ..she's put over 105,000mi on it. Other than the Stang's passenger seat belt light comming on all the time, and the Focus's squeaky breaks..I'd say they're solid cars. I can't say about the 2005 Stang, but mine feels strong and reliable so far and I ride'r hard pretty much every single day. Now, ... Read More
Yeah the engine video cuts out on this site. I think in the full video it goes to 7000, or near enough. I actually think the 4.6 (from 2010) sounds better from the outside. The 5.0 sounds bigger, yes, but it has a mellower tone, more growl than bark. Like the Challenger. I think I'd get new exhaust if I bought a 2011 GT.
OMFG! I've been waiting along time for the 5.0 to come back!! 412 hp. is nice with 390 torq. I was kinda mad cause the engine dyno test kinda locked-up on me and didn't get to see the final rpm. Ford is hands-down the king of the road with that. Long live the Mustang!!!!!
Personally I would wait for either the 2011 V6 or V8 models if you can. When you're ready to buy, go to edmunds.com or kbb.com and figure out the dealer invoice price for the vehicle and add $500 to account for the FDAF advertising fee that is part of the actual factory invoice but is not included in the online dealer invoice pricing. Then subtract all available rebates and incentives. That ... Read More

Cool... motor sounds awesome and in the relatively light Mustang should be as quick as the Camaro and retain the Mustang's handling advantage. Was close to pulling the trigger on a '09 GT Track-Pak and the supercharging it, but now I'm waiting. With this coming soon, Ford's going to have to really incentive the 4.6L cars.
The 2011 Ford Mustang GT V8 has been in the news for a few days now... however, a couple of videos of the 2011 Mustang popped up online yesterday... http://www.nitrobahn.com/news/2011-ford-mustang-gt-v8-gets-on-the-road-video/
good timming! I had to buy when I bought, knowing full well of the likely hood of a 2011 5.0! Too bad Ford doesn't lease, at least not Mustangs. I may have to take a hit and trade up provided the economy doesn't degrade further next year. One cool thing about the prospects of 6 gears is that it enables Ford to safely offer a significantly higher rear gear ratio. Imagine ... Read More
Ford will be releasing a 315 hp V6 3.7L and a 400 hp 5.0L for the 2011 model year (by next summer). With a 400 lb weight advantage it will blow away the heavier camaro and challenger.

Coming in 2010: The Boss is a forthcoming large-displacement V8 engine project at Ford Motor Company. The engine project was reportedly cancelled in 2005 as the company focused on its existing Triton V8 and V10, but was reportedly[1] revived in early 2006 by Mark Fields. The large engine will compete with DaimlerChrysler's new Hemi and General Motors' large Vortec engines. The Boss engine will reportedly displace 6.2 L (379 in³, 6208 ... Read More
Part of what makes Mustang heritage what it is is that the Mustang is a very specific car, not a product line. Diluting it will only hurt Ford. Correctamundo. It's not a bad idea to build a sport sedan or Shooting Brake on the Mustang chassis but they should NOT call it a Mustang. Call it a Falcon, a Fairlane, A Palomino or anything but a Mustang. Again... Ford already has a RWD Sedan / Wagon, but it is not sold here. Ford sells the Falcon over in Australia with a turbo V6 and a V8 engine. They have already come out and said they would not bring the Falcon over here until the Fusion and New Mustang are at least 5 years old because they do not want the Falcon cutting into the sales of either of ... I'm not so sure about a Mustang sedan - I'd rather see the Thunderbird name resurrected for a sedan - but I so much want to see a modern RWD sedan and wagon from Ford that I'd buy it even if it were called the Pinto.
According to AutoWeek, Ford will leverage the Mustang brand for the next generation by adding a sedan and wagon to the Mustang line. I think its a great idea, and only wish they had done this for the current generation.
