Thanks, that was cute. In fact, "presence" is why people spend 25% to 50% more for the very same underlying vehicle in slightly different packaging. The 2010 Lexus HS 250h is a box, shorter, taller and skinnier than the Camry Hybrid, and not very "svelte". That's why I think it's a bomb from a "presence" point of view. Yep, it's a Lexus, but nope it doesn't look like it ought to ... Read More

TOKYO/TORRANCE, California — The 2010 Lexus HS 250h, the upscale Toyota brand's first dedicated hybrid model, launched Tuesday in Japan. It ranges in price from the U.S. equivalent of $42,479 to $57,535, Toyota said. If the loaded HS is $57K, I'll get a loaded ES and spend the extra $15K on gas for longer than I would own the car!

Ohh I forgot to add, thanks for opening this discussion! I think the car looks better in darker colors. I like the smoke grey one, but I want the tan interior!

The first few miles behind the wheel of the 2010 Lexus HS 250h trigger a cascade of questions about this new car's reason for being. Why a four-cylinder engine in a luxury car? Why not simply Lexus-ize the existing Toyota Camry Hybrid? Why introduce a new sedan that is so similar in size to the existing Lexus ES 350 in the first place? 2010 Lexus HS 250h Full Test and Video ... Read More

This car is a bit on the ugly side for a lexus. What it lacks in looks, it makes up for in tech toys! I wish it got a bit better mileage, watch out lexus if lincoln makes the MKZ a hybrid.

I debated for sometime now about waiting for the Lexus 250h or ordering a 2010 Prius. I like the looks of the Lexus but was disappointed when it used the Camry engine rather than the Prius setup. We're sensing an eerie state of calm from the Lexus officials at the introduction of the 2010 Lexus HS 250h in Newport Beach, California. It's the kind of calm you experience at a poker table, when you're waiting for the other guy to finally lay down his cards. 2010 Lexus HS 250h First Drive
