What did you find out about the noise? I have a 2011 mazda cx-9 and have the same problem. I'm getting ready to take it in and wanted to know if they resolved the problem for you. Thanks
Thought I would pass this along since this board has been helpful to me in the past. Just took delivery of a leftover New 2010 CX9 GT with Nav, Liftgate, and Bose/Moonroof and some other dealer installed stuff. Sticker was $39,500. Dealer discounted to $33,175 plus I got a $3000 rebate from Mazda for 2010's. So final was $30,175 not including TTL. I keep my cars for 5 or 6 years ... Read More
Hi raksgal. Mazda's March buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 39 month lease of a 2011 CX-9 GT AWD with 12,000 miles per year are .00111 and 51%, respectively. The selling price that you were quoted looks good to me. Yes, you would save money by leasing with only 12,000 miles per year versus 15,000 miles per year...assuming that you don't go over your mileage allowance. Car_man ... Read More
Got a pretty sweet deal. Paid roughly $35K including everything ($31900 - $250 Mazda private cash + tax ($3200) + documentation/registrationfee ($360)). The MSRP was roughly $36200 I am in seattle WA area. I think its a good price, any comments?
pcannon - is your "out the door" price before tax/title/registration? If not, what was the price before those fees? I have a dealer quoting me $200 below invoice including Mazda 0% financing for a 2011 GT AWD ($33K) before TTL, and am trying to figure out if that is a good deal in NYC. Thanks!

I have always purchased cars, but get the itch for a new car about every 2 years so needless to say I have negative equity. Thinking about leasing a 2011 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring. What is the current money factor rates per length of lease as well as residual values. Everyone here seems to say there is about a $3000 wiggle room between MSRP and invoice. Still correct? Take a look at the customer reviews at dealerrater.com for Hennessy Mazda. Their average score is 1.8 which pretty low. Not saying that I certainly wouldn't try to deal with them but would be very cautious. Read and check everything you sign.
So far No. Hennessey appears to be the cheapest but all other dealers suggest there is something they're not telling me with their offering. There's no telling if that offer is still available as it was only "for that day". Im not in any rush and will wait a few weeks closer to then end of the month before i purchase. There isnt many AWD at the Atlanta dealerships. There wasnt ... Read More
PCannon, Did you get the Mazda? Sounds like Hennessy is the cheapest. We are looking t purchase a GT AWD. I wonder if the pricing they gave you would be similar to the AWD? Also, I would like to get the 0% APR too.
Roswell of Mazda couldn't beat Hennessey. Their best offer was $31788.00 not including $795 and processing fee was $100 more. Jim Ellis also couldn't beat it. They stayed at $33,100.00 not sure about processing fees or destination. They did say this was with 0%/60mos I wonder if visiting the dealerships at the end of the month would be better.....this is what Ive heard anyway. Im starting to think Hennessey is the ... Read More

Possibly. Mazda just started offering 0/60 financing on the 2011's today. Since you are looking for a cash deal, I would guess that you might be able to get it close to 6K off of MSRP. I know dealers in my area were knocking an additional 2K off in Oct and Nov, then 3K in Dec for 2010's with cash deal. This was a manufacturer to dealer incentive that most dealers ... Read More

Hey Car Man, I know its after the fact but just curious if this is a good deal i just signed. 10K/36 moth lease on a mazda cx9 2011 GT AWD with an MSRP of 38,415. 2k down which includes taxes (have to paid upfront in NYC) and DMV fees and some dealer fees. There was probably 200-300 that went towards actual money down not related the above. Monthly payments of ... Read More
Hi gchristo. Part of how much over invoice you will have to pay will depend upon how much competition there is in your area. To use an extreme example, someone who is in Hawaii or Alaska will have to pay a lot more for a vehicle than someone in the uber-competitive Los Angeles market. I personally would want a much better deal than $3,000 over invoice on a CX-9. I personally ... Read More

Last I checked, Mazda was only offering 0%/60mos on 2010 models only. The 2011's were 0.9%/60mos. Might want to verify that. What's the MSRP on this?

I bought a 2011 CX Sport Pearl White with power driver seat for $25,280+TTL (no 0% financing). Very close to the deal you got. Has anyone bought this car for less?

I am also interested in knowing what Mazda did to raise MPG of 2011 models. The 2007 CX9s have 3.5L engines. Owners have reported much better MPG than later models with 3.7L variants. For 3.7L engines, Mazda revised the intake manifold and programming. Interesting to know what Mazda does this time for 2011. If the 2011 has the DI (direct injection) engine, it would be a very nice improvement to the ... Read More
Avi97, Since fuel efficiency is based on a number of factors it would be nice to know what Mazda changed to achieve better fuel efficiency. Not sure if a couple of MPG here and there tilts a buying decision, but good to see that Mazda is doing something about it.
For 2011, Mazda has increased the fuel economy of the CX-9 to 17 city / 24 hwy for FWD models, and 16 city / 22 hwy for AWD models. They will also be equipped with new 18" and 20" wheel designs.
The CX-9 is available with auto headlights already. As for auto locking doors, it is a matter of personal preference and not considered a "luxury"feature. Mazda has not disclosed what changes there might be for the 2011's yet. Mazda does not consider the CX-9 a "luxury" vehicle. It's the media that considers it a luxury alternative.
