Acceleration comments | Minimal wheelspin makes for the best acceleration in the Raptor. Our best run came with traction control on. Not that it's much of a problem with only 310 hp -- this truck really needs more power. |

Handling comments | The Raptor's width is very apparent in the slalom. Slow reactions here should pay off in the dirt, however. Steering needs to be quicker. Correcting oversteer will be a lot of work off-road. Can coax the tail out with stability off around the skid pad, but it's hardly rewarding. Stability control punishes momentum severely when it activates but remains surprisingly at bay for longer than expected. |
