Performance
The Accord with the 2.4L I4 engine accelerates slowly, but the five-speed automatic transmission is well matched to the engine and overall drivability is very good.
Driving Dynamics
Great steering for a family sedan with great feeling during effort buildup and around center. Braking distances during instrumented testing were long, with an overall rating of 'Poor.' However, during everyday driving they were fine.
Ride Comfort
A comfortable, soft ride, but there is some body movement and wallow over undulating surfaces.
Quietness
Reasonably quiet, with acceptable wind noise suppression.
Ergonomics
Good control layout that's very easy to use. Great switch and knob feel.
Visibility
Front and rear visibility along with the general sightlines are very good and the blind spots aren't very big.
Seat Access & Space
Front seating area is comfortable, while the rear seat is adequate.
Cargo & Storage
There's many small interior compartments; great interior storage. Also, the trunk is decently sized with fold-down rear seat and center pass-through.
Build Quality
Tight exterior build and good paint. The interior, however, is very bland and the materials are just OK.
