JC, Call me spoiled, but I wouldn't want to give up my T6. ;) This engine will scoot! We've had ours for two years and one month, 36K miles. Avg mileage is 20.5, best I can figure. Hwy mileage is about 22...balanced by some spirited acceleration between stoplights on our 65mph highways around Austin. :D We just got the 1.9% deal on a 2011 C70, trading in our '08 C70. Paying ... I was at the dealership today testing out a 2011 XC60 T6 demo that they had for sale. They're not able to locate a XC60 in the configuration I want and any order wouldn't be available for delivery til Aug/Sept, I thought I'd check out the demo. It had more options than I was looking for and due to the low inventory weren't willing to meet my price. Surprisingly, they pulled ... Read More
no not me. i did notice that the thermostat setting may need to be a bit more lower in order to have it on. But seems to working ok.
Has anyone else encountered their 2011 Volvo XC60 having an intermittent A/C does not work at all issue? Took ours to Volvo and they acknowledged the problem which was to be fixed with a new software fix. They installed the fix and we're still having the problems. Anyone else? Love the car, otherwise.
I just heard back from Volvo, North America. Volvo doesn't do Bluetooth upgrades. But they will send info to the phone's manufacturer or service provider for them to do an upgrade to the phone. I was told this was done for the iPhone 4G. Volvo customer care asked that I email them the phone's model number and software version numbers. So if your phone doesn't have correct/full compatibility with your car's ... Read More
I just got a myTouch 4G from T-Mobile and although it connects though Bluetooth, it immediately disconnects after a few seconds. My old cell phone connected just fine. T-Mobile blames Volvo. Where do you think the problem lies? I'm guessing the 4G phone has new features related to Bluetooth so perhaps the car's Bluetooth software needs updating? You'd think the new phone would be backward compatible but oh well. My XC60's ... Read More
Hmmm. I can't see how a luxury vehicle has wind noise like a less expensive model. It's strange. There is little road noise except when going over bumps at speed. There is also very little engine noise at highway speeds so the wind noise is really standing out. It seems the 2011 XC60 I test drove (pre-November model) handled bumps with more rigidity and less noise than mine. I've got a ... Read More
Yes, it sucks. I think it's coming from the door windows up top. My wife's 2011 Q5 is much more quiet at highway speeds. Though one time the noise was pretty bad and I realized I had the window cracked just a hair.
Thanks CarMan, For some reason your reply didn't generate an email alert and I only now see your response.I hopefully have now corrected/re done that on my Edmunds profile. You are absolutely right about $500-$1000 over invoice, before incentives. Despite the fact that Edmunds "True Market Value" has it at $100 under invoice, I haven't encountered that.Ill pop over to the "prices paid" discussion forum for more on that...The incentives I ... Could any 2011 xc60-T6 owner tell me what is the background color in the instructional pannel? I realize when I tested drive, I saw a blue background, the color just like the blue volvo logo. I know the Redesign shows blue but not sure if the T6 should also be blue. My car only shows bright white over dark. Thanks
The adaptive cruise control (ACC) now includes the queue assist feature which can take the car to a complete stop and resume automatically. Today during rush-hour, on a 6-lane highway with signaled intersections, I went 5 miles in stop-and-go traffic without pressing the brakes once. A fairly awesome feat. The ACC went as fast as 60 mph between stop lights going along with the flow of traffic. I had the ACC ... Read More

I logged several thousand miles last year in middle/northern Norway and Sweden driving exclusively on packed snow and ice. The 3.2 FWD did great (even started up just fine in -35C). With studded snow tires, I never felt on the edge of a skid. The traction control did a great job with starts on ice - much better than my 4x4 3500 pickup (that is a bit like a newborn antelope ... Hi njvehiclelover. A 5% discount on a 2011 XC90 sounds like a good deal to me. It's difficult to say exactly, but this is probably equivalent to less than $500 over dealer invoice. Having said that, the payment that you were quoted, $645/month with $3,000 down, looks a little high to me. Make sure that the dealer is using Volvo's current money factor and residual value of .00134 and 53% to ... Read More

Unfortunately, the prices are not negotiable. However, with the trip to Sweden its a great deal. You can of course thake this price list into your local dealer, it may give you a little bit more leverage. Be aware, the option prices listed are retail, no discount. Normally Volvo will announce some sort of option discount pricing or packaging. The big savings is off the model price.

Do the folks at Volvo need a new calendar? Surely a vehicle delivered in Feb of 2011 couldn't possibly be a 2010 model. Our 2010 XC60 will be TWO years old in March 2011. Perhaps daylight saving time is coming back to haunt us! :)
Hi Kmack. Now that Volvo is offering its Safe + Sound warranty and maintenance plan the idea of a five year lease is not as offensive as it once was. Still, five years is a long time to lease any vehicle for. A lot can happen over the course of five years. One's lifestyle could change causing them to need a larger or smaller vehicle. One's commute could change causing them ... Read More

Yes, and No. The 2011 will not have any significant changes to the interior, until about mid-model-year. At that point it will have the new S60 style Podless dash with new Navigation system. The steering wheel gets a nice makeover too, including strong aluminum accents.
Hi, I'm trying to find out whether the 2011 Volvo XC60's nav system has been changed at all. Does anyone know? Thanks!
