I got new 2011 Venza and very disappointed with the Remote system. Not more than 20 ft. The beeps from car is hardly audible. You need to be less than 15 ft to hear the beeps.
Hi edin06... We have a forum devoted especially to pricing... You can find it here: Toyota Venza Prices Paid and Buying Experience regards, kyfdx
Aren't you concerned about Toyota using cheaper parts, probably many of them from Red China??! http://www.autoblog.com/2009/12/24/toyota-cutting-supplier-expenses-by-30-probab- ly-means-using-ch/
I had my heart set on the new 2011 sonata. We were disappointed in it and looked at several other cars. Wife spotted the venza, then we compared with other somewhat "similar" vehicles. We bought a 2010 6 cyl venza. We had a small rattle in the back (cargo net holder) and I hand tightened it. I'm not aware of any blind spots. We have the backup camera, but I don't ... Read More
Car_man, Can you post the MF and residuals for a 2011 Venza AWD V6 with comfort package ? I understand that toyota does not fully residualize many options so you may not have the residual. If that is the case can you post the residual for the above model without options, and I will try to guesstimate the residual value...
Our 2011 Venza is outstanding. We have a fully loaded AWD 3.6L with HID headlights and the panaramic sunroof. There's very little I would change other than the following: - Memory seats - A/C Seats - Nav is the typical lousy Toyota. Their lawyers are going to destroy this company. They need to allow all functionality of the Nav system while underway. To the morons that drive their vehicle into a ... Read More
It's puzzling to me why Toyota doesn't offer the memory seats on the Highlander or the Venza. I can understand maybe the rains-sensing wipers, maybe, even though this is a must-have for me also. These were the only two things that kept me from buying a Venza, so I'm on my second Lexus RX. I had a 2007 RX350, and I'm currently driving a 2010 RX350. I love the styling on ... Read More
I think you are over paying for the demo. Even though it has never been officially registered, it is a used car. I live in eastern MA and for some comparisons: I purchased a AWD 4cyl in Jan sicker $28900 got it for around $25400. At the time of the purchase I was also looking at 6cyl AWD. Sticker was $31900, offered to me for $28200. There is a dealer in ... Read More
Short answer: Is there going to be any difference at all between the '10s and 11s? My impression is no, but I may be wrong, so waiting would be pointless unless you are banking $ for the downpayment. If so, then wait. If your present transportation may not make it another month, then buy now. We're in no hurry. The 2011 is going to be based on the outgoing Camry platform ... Read More
No, I'm not a bit concerned about where toyota gets its parts. The venza is 80 percent american parts and 100 percent american labor. However, that means nothing to me. I've bought quite a few cars over the years and the only "disqualifier" with regard to where or how something was made would be being built in a union plant. Burn me once shame on you, burn me twice, shame on ... Read More
Replying to hfnyc: I just took my Venza for a 1000 mile road trip so I feel I have a more informed opinion of my Venza now. The big pluses about the car are that it is stylish and unique (unlike the ubiquitous Camry). The exterior is fine so far. My problem is with the interior -- the Venza interior is not as sturdy as Toyotas from previous years (e.g. the ... Read More
Has anyone seen any information at all on the timing of the new 2011 Venza? Will it have any of the latest updates from the newly released 2011 Avalon? Will the new Venza be offerred with memory seats?
I am at a similar crossroads. I like both cars, and dollar for dollar they come out quite close in price (I am considering NO Navi or moonroof for either one) for 6cyl models. Handling is a mixed bag IMO. I don't care for the lack of road feel in the Venza...I don't need steering to be THAT effortless. But there is less body roll than in the OB. Overall, I ... Read More
I am in the market now for new suv hubby and I both drive toyotas hylander and sienna van have loved them very reliable and have gotten us across country quite a few times while psc. CAFE is monitored by the NHTSA not the EPA. The fuel economy ratings on the windows are specified by the EPA. The CAFE ratings are based on 1970s-era tests and are about 20% higher than the EPA ratings. Thus the Venza would be in the 30 mpg range for CAFE. But it's an average of all vehicles weighted for sales volume. Don't worry about it Toyota is far ahead of the ... Read More
I read where the government is proposing a requirement that 2011 model year passenger vehicles achieve 27.3mpg, lower than the previous standard.. Isn't the current Venza called a 2010? Regarding the 27.3 mpg requirement: Is that a standard for a "corporate average fuel efficiency" I believe that is what CAFE stands for? In that case, Toyota could achieve a 27.3 CAFE if they average in the Prius. They may just need ... Read More
