MSRP not available for Pre-Production vehicles
Get a Free Price QuoteI would not make any conclusions on car selling price after looking on auto show MSRP pricing. The fact of the matter that 4 cyl Camry LE could be easily purchased for around $19K before fees and taxes. Toyota now has $1250 cashback or 60 month 0% financing + $500 (I just looked up this info on Toyota website). I don't want to sound like toyota ad person but aggressive pricing ... Read More
Hi All: I am presently in the market for a new 2012 vehicle! ----- At the present time, I own a 2010 Chevrolet LTZ 4 cylinder Malibu, and a 2007 Toyota XLE V6 Camry. -------- (Both vehicles were purchased new, and are serviced by the selling dealer every 2,500 miles, and both vehicles have a 6 speed automatic transmission.) ----- If you review the history of the 2007 Camry you will ... the option QD is the SE Extra Value Package #1 which includes the sunroof, illuminated vanity mirrors, rear reading lights and the spoiler. I know a sales person at the dealer and this was the initial deal offered. Toyota is looking to blow out Camry's after the issues last year and preparing for the 2012 redesigned Camry due out July 2012. The Camry was not a car that I was considering ... Read More
I have been thinking about purchasing a new Camry. Thinking that I might get better deals during the fall I thought I should wait for the summer to end. However at this point a new possible situation emerges. Previous body style Camry was launched in 2002 (not sure if it was offered for sale in 2001) and the current Camry was launched in 2006 as 2007 model year. It makes sense ... Read More
Altima is more like 15 or 16 months...but I get your point :) New generation Altimas almost always debut in late August, but considering the Altima is doing about as bad in comparison tests as the current Accord, it wouldn't surprise me if Nissan pulls a "Maxima" and releases the car by June 2011. Maximas usually debut in June/July. If Toyota follows their routine the Camry will be on sale right ... Read More
Well, we won't see another Altima for about 18 months--kinda out there. The 2012 Camry could very well debut early next year, unless Toyota wants to, uh, accelerate the delivery schedule. ;) And the Sonata is already out as far as new designs go--yes, turbo and hybrid versions will be out pretty soon. When was the last time anyone saw me "forget" about a new Hyundai design? :)
I wouldn't go back there again, it's there loss. I am waiting for the 2012 Camry with push button start, better fuel economy and new design.
Since the 2011 Camry is going to be the last model year for the 7th Generation, I wanted to find out from Camry owners/leasees, etc what do you like on the current Camry you would not want Toyota to change/get rid of and what you like to see change or improved upon with the Camry when the 8th Generation comes out next year for 2012??? More importantly, would do you think ... Read More
The new design for the Toyota Camry will be 2012 model. It should be out in January 2011. The 2011 model was out months ago. Here is a link to a concept design http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/showthread.php?t=276376
Dealers are discounting heavy to move inventory, however the blips noted on this message board kinda cooked my desire for any Camry of 2011 vintage..It's a basically a 2007 with some improvements..Toyota went the GM road with all of it's sales glory and butchered the quality to improve the bottom line..The 2012 offering should be an improvement.. Off the subject---tires---Had 4-Hankooks installed on the 06 Grand Prix GT about 12k miles ... Read More
yeah, the 2012 has to get some of these tech updates that the Altima and Fusion have to stay competitive; the 2012 Camry is going to say a lot for Toyota and I'm anxious to see what they come up with; this next gen Camry can't be a single or double, it needs to be a full home run!!
well thats certainly true and with Toyota's current situation they are going to have to focus a lot on safety issues with the next gen Camry but those things I mentioned have to happen in order for Toyota to compensate for the negative publicity their current recalls are going to have on their reputation for the immediate future, which I would say is 1-2 years; after that, I think people will ... Toyota is really going to have to hit a homerun inside and outside on the 2012 Camry when it comes out next year; it has heavy competition from the 2011 Sonata and the refreshed Ford Fusion; the Fusion for example, was improved to be quieter, smoother, and more comfortable than the previous 3 years! those three adjectives sound really similar to ones describing the Camry so I think Ford had Toyota ... All Camrys since the 2007 model year came out early, with the exception of the 2008 model. I'd expect the redesigned 2012 about a year from now.
Hey jw2000, How do you know that you got 40 MPG? Did you do ALL 100% highway driving in your brand new Camry SE? Also, how many miles did you drive before filing up the tank in your car? The only Camry that can realistically get 40MPG is the HYBRID. I don't see how your SE got 40 MPG unless you own the Hybrid model. I just filled up my 2010 ... Read More
I don't know if this is the right forum to post this, but does anyone know when the toyota camry will get a all-new design/restyle? I have read 2012 or 2013. Is there any definite information out there on when the camry will be redesigned? Thanks.
Yesterday, I got to test drive one of the 2010 Camry LE's, and while it was a welcome improvement over the 2007-2009 model, I still wasn't terribly impressed with it. First thing you notice about it is that Satellite radio is now standard on LE trims and above. ESC is also now standard across the board. The other improvement is the 2.5L 4-cyl and 6-speed auto. It provides a nice bump ... Read More
I know everyone here is talking about changes they want on the 2010 Camry but remember this is just a refresh look at the minor changes done on model gens between 94-95, 99-00, and 04-05 they are not really major changes. I am intending on buying a 09 Camry SE (4cylinder) and really do not want to wait another year for a refreshed Camry. Although I will be curious what Toyota ... Read More
No, it should be completely replaced by the 2012 model, but updated for 2010. They almost always make an update by the 4th model year. How "major" it is varies, but is generally a lot more than just new paint colors. The 2010 will be the fourth year of this body style. Look at the 2005 Camry vs the 2002-2004 models. The absolute minimum you can expect is standard VSA on ... Read More
Camry was introduced in early 2006 as 2007 model so it will not have any major upgrades atleast until 2012 model. They might add standard safety features and new color choices.
Hope those jumper cables werent on a 12 volt...Anyway.. MACK.... doesnt toyota redo every 5 years on the camry?.... thats been typical in the pastso 2012 will be all new, correct? Anyway.... thx for the constant updates. Caaz p.s. I really enjoy my 03 camry, i actually hit 40 mpg at 65 mph on my last trip.
I think Hyundai will increasingly highlight the quality and reliability of its vehicles such as the Sonata (note it's now the #2 mid-sized sedan per CR in reliability, behind only the previous-gen Accord), while it continues to emphasize value compared to brands like Toyota and Honda. You asked for my prediction, my opinion, and that's it. Why? Simply, why not use all the weapons at your disposal in a war, instead ... Read More
The Camry Hybrid is currently using a nickel metal-hydride battery, right? I believe that Toyota's plan is to move to a lithium battery, possibly for the next generation Camry Hybrid (which would be the 2012 model year). A lithium battery is substantially smaller, so that would help with the trunk issue. A lithium battery is also lighter, so you get even better mpg. Main issue is cost, as lithium batteries are ...
