Warning!!!!Do not buy the 2011 Suzuki Kizashi unless you want to pay for a new paint job after a couple years. I bought one this Aug. and within 50 km I had paint chips on both front doors and the hood. Suzuki will not admit the problem even though the paint chip issue is well documented by others on auto forums. Check out the posts on Kizashi Club forum and Suzuki ... Read More
http://www.canadiandriver.com/2010/07/09/test-drive-2011-suzuki-kizashi.htm The car is a loser for a number of reasons including this damnable CVT! Get yourself a car with a discreet geared conventional transmission while you still can before the fun of driving is totally sacrificed upon the politically correct altar of fossil fuel conservation and "saving the environment." Just ask Al Gore. He recently bought himself a mansion on the shore of a California beach before "global warming" covered ... Read More
wow, that is indeed upsetting. Sorry to hear of this bad news about the paint you experienced with your Kizashi. Can you re-post the bad news about the Rockford Fosgate stereo? It doesn't show up in the above post because your picture is a tad too big. Hope you get better support from your Suzuki dealer in the near future. I have decided to just sit tight and enjoy our 2008 ... Read More

if I'm not mistaken VW already owns 20% of Suzuki as I type this pup out. So, they're already in like flint. Yep, VW will take the small kei-class car prowess of Suzuki and it will pay dividends for them wherever people are looking for small values in cars like Suzuki creates. I just grow fonder and fonder of Suzuki as a carmaker everyday. My old boss is Willcox drives a ... Read More
Of course you don't need Kia. But you are abandoning them just as they are getting really really good. BTW, the 2011 Sonata with a 2.4 liter is available with a 6 speed manual transmission. This, even though there is little call anymore for stick transmissions here. Thus, most manufacturers are selling fewer of them. And it makes sense. The new continuously variable transmissions and the double clutch manuals that can ... Read More
enlighten me, please. Is the 2011 Hyundai Sonata even offered in 5-speed or 6-speed manual form? Know this, too. I only have 152 horses in my 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS. I don't need twin turbos. Then again, if someone else does, good for them. I did go overboard, but, when I like something I go 186 mph balls-to-the-proverbial wall for it. When I work as a Respiratory Therapist, I don't just ... Read More
Um...excuse me, but no one here that I have seen has "lambashed" you (or lambasted you). I for one do like your enthusiasm, and if not for you, this thread would be awfully silent. At the same time, you must understand that lots of people (including the majority of mid-size buyers out there) do not see it the way you do. I think the Kizashi is a good value, but it ... Read More
have I remarked lately how this white 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport in 6-speeds is the latest new car that I would like ta purchase? Looks great in white, it's because of how Suzuki trimmed this pup out. I wouldn't add a single thing to the car anywhere. Just enjoy the hell outta it. ;) Big, beefy, bodacious and beautiful. In white no less.
have I mentioned lately how much I like the 2010 Suzuki Kizashi GTS and/or the 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport in white? This may be only the second white car I have ever bought, though my wife would pick Vivid Red. The first white car was a 1966 Ford Fairlane. We used to call it old Smokey, smoke came off the motor and in to the car's cabin. The above-pictured 2010 Suzuki ... Read More
All your points are well-taken. I have been to India many times. Suzuki absolutely dominates there, as well as in other places. But for whatever reason (lack of product is certainly one), they have not been able to gain a foothold here in the US. The very good Kizashi is unlikely to change that. It does get good reviews and comes in mid-pack or better in the comparison tests that have ... Read More
The Kizashi is a good car, but will have a tough road ahead. Suzuki doesn't have many dealerships, relatively speaking. Few Suzuki models are sold here. The Kizashi will be going up against not only good products already well established, but models like the 2011 Kia Optima, which some will find better looking, not to mention its greater hp and mpg for about the same money. It is also apparently a ... Read More
I'm starting to wonder if you're not right! Heck, the Kizashi Sport, due out in August 2010 as a 2011 Suzuki model, offers a 10-way adustable driver's seat, safety-passed through the year 2014, a 185-hp 2.4L 4 cylin. motor with a 6-speed transmission, foglights, leather-gripped steering wheel and gearknob, side body cladding, side moulding, sunroof, 425-watt Rockford Fosgate stereo, cloth seating(very comfortable BTW-I test drove one at a Henderson, NV, dealer, ... am I the only licensed driver in these United States of America that wants to buy one of these 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport's? I'm startin' ta get a hankerin' for the 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport in white. Suzuki calls this white 'Radiant White'. I see their point.
to a theater near you. Random thoughts on the new 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport. Check out all of the engineering that goes in to this new Suzuki. There is nothing else like the Kizashi in this category of car on the road today! Why might that be? Well, let's talk about it. For starters show me another car in the segment that has: aluminum pistons with low tensile force rings, forged ... Read More
in polar white. This car looks quite impressive in white. It enthuses me like a real car enthusiast's car should. Might have ta buy one. Offered exclusively on Kizashi GTS and SLS trim levels, Suzuki's new 'Sport' variant of its sleek and sophisticated sport sedan is scheduled to go on sale in the United States this August. Pricing for the all-new 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport will be announced closer to the ... Read More
you think those wheels are too busy? I don't. Oh well. My '08 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS has wheels that are less busy-more just straight spoke. Like this. But those wheels on the 2011 Suzuki Kizashi Sport do not appear to me to be too busy. They look pretty good and they're done artfully. Here's a close-up view of the Sport's wheel setup. I like 'em. :)
for Kizashi. Note the new wheels, with their more intricate inner pattern there. Man, glad I waited on this pup to come along. Suzuki execs say that the GTS model will still come in at around $23,400. They've added some new chrome to the front fascia along with the wheel package. I think the whole car looks even better with this new Sport package. Here's some other looks at the Sport ... Read More
I am in the same boat. Currently there are two Subaru cars in our household. 2006 Outback and 2009 Legacy SE. 24 month lease on Legacy is up at the at the end of August. I cannot even bring myself to think about purchasing/leasing 2010. Even taking into consideration saving $300 disposition fee and having in hand $1500 in Subaru bucks. Exterior design is simply atrocious and interior surfaces - hard, ... Read More
They will bargain with you or they won't make a sale. Suzuki sales are way down, and thus far, the Kizashi is not turning that around. They don't have many models to begin with. The Equator is a Nissan truck that doesn't sell that well as a Nissan. The Grand Vitara is greatly in need of a redesign. The SX4 models (I have one) are good cars, but the design is ... Read More
I like the Kizashi, but it comes up short in a few areas when compared to the 2011 Sonata. Gas mileage especially has me puzzled. If you get the good wheels, the Kizashi mpg actually goes down. Sonata rates all its wheel sizes the same. What is up with that? My SX4 AWD runs great. However, why does a AWD Legacy or Outback get better mileage? Suzuki sales will never take ... Read More
