HA, now that was funny, lica13. Here's the information that you're looking for. Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp.'s April buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 39 month lease of a 2011 Sentra SE-R Spec V with 15,000 miles per year are .00120 and 60%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier. I believe that NMAC's residual values for a lease with only 12,000 miles per ... Read More

Bought a 2011 Sentra 2.0 S CVT for $14,588 out the door - the only optional items included were floor mats. Bought it on Presidents day weekend - there was a Nissan incentive for the month plus an additional $500 incentive for that weekend. The starting point was the zag pricing.

Just bought a 2011 Sentra 2.0S CVT with splash guards, auto-dimming rearview mirror, floormats, and window tint (which I got them to add included in the price), for $14937.62 out the door for sixty month at 3.49%. Keep in mind that this was only with $2000 in rebates, not the $2500 that nissan was offering in February. I actually could have saved another $500 off the price ($540 after tax) if ... Read More

Thanks for the input - I figure the reliability should be OK. It's funny you mentioned the headroom - that was a key factor for my wife, who gets somewhat carsick, and that is exacerbated by feeling closed-in. Sentra's roominess and headroom was a big positive on that front, and both Elantra and Cruze were eliminated because she felt claustrophobic in each. Elantra (and Sonata for that matter) both have very ... Read More

Reliability shouldn't be a problem. A friend of mine has a '00 Sentra and as of a few weeks ago he had 193K on it. He's done some repairs plus the routine maintenance and had it repaired after an accident but overall he's very satisfied with the car. I owned an '85 Sentra wagon/5-door. Good car, great on gas, but it was a stripper model so it didn't have things like ... Read More

Here in western NY I am seeing MSRP's of $18,450. for a Sentra 2.0 S or SR, with the floor mats and splash guards...and being sold for $14,795. or $14,999. Excluding sales tax, MV fees of course. I bought the car at Glendale Nissan, So Cal, zip code 91204. It was an SR, not an SL, with floor mats and splash guards. I paid all cash, so took the $2,000.00 rebate. I'd still love some input as to whether I got rooked, or this was a good price.

OK, I was confused by the term "discount", since any amount off list is a discount. So your discount was actually over $2700, before rebate--which is a very good discount considering the markup on the car. I have an AMEX card (actually 2, one for business)... is this buying program free for AMEX cardholders?

I used American Express Auto buying program. If you use that program then you will notice that total discount of $3899 is applicable on Factory Invoice cost There was no trade-in and no finance, full cash deal

Can you clarify what the deal is? Your math doesn't add up. $2500 + $1399 is $3899, but then you show a total discount including rebates of $5240 with "my price" = $14,060. IMO that is a very good deal... if that is in fact the deal.

Chevrolet Elantra - maybe, because I could drive it for 10 years and it would still be the same car as the 2011 Chevy Elantra. Plus I could get service at every hamlet in the U.S. Daewoo Elantra: no, not enough of a track record for me. Dodge Elantra - no, because only the front windows would have power operation. Ford Elantra: no, because I'd be concerned about first-year problems after ... Read More
