    A dealer quoted the following for 2011 audi Prem. Plus ..is. 00185 money factor,54% residual for 39 mos. I have top tier credit. Does the.money factor seem high.i have read in this forum money factors of .00136 & .00156 for similar cars. Have rates at vw finance changed. Any assistance is much appreciated.

Money Factor is (standard thru Audi according to leasing company) which is .00171 42 months Monthly payment ~$679 I'm not positive but I believe he is assuming 10k miles a year Does this sound like a fair deal? The selling prices of leased vehicles are negotiable, just as if you were paying cash for or financing them.     hey, mindar92-ask your dealer to check with US Bank instead of Audi Financial. I just got last month a 2011 A5 Cab with an MSRP of $48,885(premium plus but no nav) at 42 months/12k per year and $1,000 total out of pocket for $650/month which was much lower than Audi Financial. Good luck, there are only a few cars out there in the tri state area right now!

    hey, Warren: I say it's very high. In September I leased a 2011 A5 Cabriolet with an MSRP of $48,885 for $650/month with only $1,000 TOTAL out of pocket in NJ but it was for 42 months. Still much better, I think with a much higher MSRP than your quotes. Regards, Dave

    Hi Dave. Unfortunately, it's difficult to say what Audi's September lease program will be like when it is introduced on the 7th. I personally usually try to lease vehicles through manufacturers' captive finance companies, however US Bank is very reputable so I wouldn't have a problem leasing through them if the deal was significantly better.     I just got the following deal but i'm not sure if this would be the best I can get. $42,507 cost. 42 month lease at 12k miles per year with 3750 out of pocket including taxes and fees. That puts me at $601 per month with the following options. Premium Plus package Nav/cam option Everything else standard I'd appreciate any help. Thank you Vic

    Just got back for Dealership in Hartford Ct . Looking at A5S Cab MSRP of $67,600 15K lease with Zero Down for 36 months quoted me $1348.00 per month. Looks like it about two to three hundred dollars a month more than the same priced MB or BMW.

This is a computer generated document that will disclose all pertinent information including sell price, money factor, residual factor, residual value, etc. The beauty of this document is that it doesn't lie and will minimize confusion and misunderstanding.     He said that it's not really a down payment, it's more of a "what's due at signing". He said the first month, bank fee ($625), DMV fee, and other fees make up the 3k, and that it's really $0 down for the car.     I have some of the info you ask... but, I'm not sure if the dealer is pulling a fast one because the rates I got are quite high. 2011 A5 - 42 mo - 0.00292 & 53% 36 mo - 0.00292 & 57% Is there any way we (the consumers) can obtain the actual MF numbers? Will calling audi financial help?

    Looking for an idea on what type of discount I should get off this car. Sticker is $51,000. Dealer is offering $500 off plus an Audi "Loyalty" discount of $1,500. Seems like a lousy deal. Thoughts?

    Hi supian. The car that you described probably has a spread of around $2,800 between its full MSRP and its dealer invoice price. The $2,000 dealer discount that you were quoted looks reasonable to me. Audi is not providing any cash incentives on 2011 models yet.     The dealer said around early to mid August , but once Audi has the lease programs for the 2011's they'll call me in. I left a $1k deposit to ensure the vehicle. It is a worry free, no penalty deposit. If we can't agree I get my money back, which is great.

    Hi omichel. Audi doesn't have a lease program for any 2011 models yet. I don't know exactly when the 2011 A5 will launch, but it's possible that it won't be for another several months.
