My friend bought a leftover 2010 Kia Sedona LX (no other options) for between $21,000 and $22,000 at the start of this year. Was that a good price?

I purchesed a brand new 2010 Kia Sedona (basic model) in July of 2010 and since Aug 2010 I have been experiencing a knocking noice when I am slowing down into a left or right hand turn regardless of the road condition. It only happens when I am breaking and u can actually feel it in the break pedal as well Has anyone else experienced the same? If this normal? According ... Read More
I am looking at a new Kia Sedona 2011. The 2011 has a new 3.5 v6 instead of the 4.0. The new engine has better mileage - I think 18/25 vs 17/23 for the old. My issue though is the styling. The 2011 is a pretty much carryover from the 2010/2009. But with Hyundai and KIA revamping its entire product line, I am guessing that the 2012 would get a complete ... Read More
Well in 2010 I bought a new car which had great range, and became more frustrated about my pitiful range with my 2002 kia sedona. It has over 150,000 miles on it now. So I searched here and found this, if ANYONE else wants an EASY fix, here it is. 1) Take out the UPPER glove box. Two screws, one on each side, and 2 hidden ones in the center (you ... Read More
We JUST purchased a 2010 Sedona and yepper, the doors are a HOOT!. My electrical engineer husband thought I was crazy, but we found 2 issues. (1). If you 'hold the handle in the open position' when expecting it to latch open, it won't. You must release the pulled-portion of the handle, then it latches open and stays open. This works fine, unless and until you decide to (2) LOWER EITHER ... Read More
Hi, Just wanted to share with others. I had sent emails to few Kia dealers in the area and got quotes ranging from $27,400 to $27,900 for a 2010 EX with the Luxury and Entertainment package. Is it worth paying this for the Sedona knowing that these vans depreciate so much in the first year? Anyone else received any recent quotes for the 2010 Sedona?
We are at the bottom of the barrel, folks! I guess when we were surveyed we told the truth about the problems we are having with the vans. If the service departments were what they are supposed to be, these problems would be fixed. They are advising AGAINST our vans and they are listed in the "CARS NOT TO BUY" area. I know this will KILL our trade-in or sales value. ... Read More
It was a new 2008. 20 miles on the car. Kia of Mt. Olive. I got the last 2008 Sedona. The 2010s should be arriving shortly, so I'd think there may be incentives for the 2009s soon.
I understand you are upset but obviously there is a problem with the vehicle and you feel like you have been ripped off. Fact of the matter is no matter how much we want as consumers or Kia as a manufacturer wants every vehicle to be "perfect" is completely unreasonable. People put cars together and we all know people are not perfect by any sense of the word. Mistakes can and ... Read More
