  Actually you will comparing Apples with Oranges putting the Fiesta against the Focus. The Fiesta is a considerably smaller vehicle B-segment Sub Compact vs the Focus which is significantly larger and a C-segment Compact size vehicle.   for an example around here in Elko, NV, they list a 2011 Ford Fiesta S sedan with 5-speed manual tranny for $14,490. There is that $500 manufactuer's rebate. And on the back window is the "Market Adjustment" sticker for $500 and though that sticker can be ignored I really dont trust that the final price would be just $13,990 + tax and license.   As the saying goes, "your mileage may vary". So much depends on driving styles and conditions. Typically, I always meet or exceed the mileage estimates on the cars I own, yet someone driving an identical car on identical roads, may not because of a heavy foot.

  I`ve owned my new Ford Fiesta Hatchback with Auto Transmission since July 24 and have just over 4000k miles on it. I (do not) have the special Fuel Efficiency package and I`m getting over 33 MPH City and 41 MPG Highway with hard driving and driving at 75 MPH or higher. I`m thrilled that my actual MPG exceeds the Ford and E.P.A. estimates, who would think?

  No way you can buy a decently equipped Fusion for under $16K new. I think you are both right.   At the dealer I ordered from, the order guide I looked at listed and showed pictures of the three different fabric samples. I'm sure it's just a glitch.

  Of course the official order guides have been at the Ford Dealerships since late Feb. I ordered mine Mar.5 but like they always say and warn you, manufacturer reserves the right to make changes, add, delete, etc at anytime. It could be that they want to differentiate the SE cloth interior with the light stone-grey interior with the SEL cloth interior being charcoal-black? But, time will tell.   The previous elimination of interior choices on the Ford Fiesta Build and Order site have been corrected. Both the cloth "light stone & charcoal" and well as the "black stone & charcoal" on the SE edition as well as the Leather option on the SES are now once again available. Must have been a site glitch.
