I have had my 2010 Challenger for 3 months. I hate the radio! I paid $1340 for the touch screen radio and it sucks big time. It has a one year serius package, I can live with that. But the USB port? It won't work with most Ipods. Chrysler knows about this and even addresses it on the dodge webpage for owners, and is promising a software update for 2011 models. ... Read More

Hi wtalbot. Unfortunately, Chrysler is not providing any lease support on the Dodge Challenger at time time. As you mentioned, there is 1.9% financing for 60 months on this car. In lieu of the special rate there is $1,000 customer cash. Chrysler is also running another special program that gives people who purchase a 2010 Challenger an additional $1,000 cash or $1,700 in free accessories. Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & ... Hi Don. Chrysler is not currently providing any lease support on the Dodge Challenger. You can still lease one through GMAC (ironically that's who Chrysler runs its leases through now), however the program won't be very attractive. You would have to use its standard lease rate, which is probably around five and a half percent for Chrysler products right now. GMAC's current residual value for a 36 month lease of a ... Read More

i keep hearing that everywhere about the LS7 but no proof. i heard they were definitely making the Z06 until 2009, and possibly even until the next generation of corvettes. will someone show me the GM announcement about this? or an article in a magazine and/or this website and/or another? or is this just a rumor?

A pretty good article marred by some pretty glaring errors. As mentioned above, assembly has always been slated for Oshawa, Canada. Also, the LS7 has no future. It will not be in the next Z06 nor the Camaro. It is being replaced by the LS8,9,A, etc. and the upcoming Gen Vs. The rest of the article was basically what I got reading between the lines of the G8/Charger comparo.

Platform sharing. Gotta love it. Car companies spread the cost of developing a crash structure or a suspension system or powertrain over a number of different models that theoretically will appeal to different paying customers. It's economies of scale, as the guys wearing the suits like to call it. Comparison Test, by Proxy: 2010 Chevrolet Camaro vs. 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8

One's eye sees what it sees. Ain't nothing wrong with that. ;-) Speaking strictly for myself, the first thing my eye sees is the "S" line down the side of both the old and new Challenger as opposed to the accent line that goes straight down the side for the Barracuda. My critical comparison stops there. ;-) Best Regards, Shipo

The first reports were 2010, hence the title of this discussion. I've since heard 2009 and now 2008, and from my perspective, the sooner the sooner. Maybe our Hosts can change the title of this discussion from "2010 Dodge Challenger" to something more generic like, "Next Generation Dodge Challenger". Best Regards, Shipo

I already have the 1970 Dodge challenger 383 4 speed RT convertible and room in the heated garage for the new one bring it on.

Per this Edmunds article http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/News/articleId=106045, it seems that our buddies at DC are thinking of re-introducing the Challenger. Ohhh, drool-slobber. I was the proud owner of an original 1970 Challenger, and would dearly love to have another car cut from that type of mold. For my purposes, the closer to the 1970 incarnation the better from a looks perspective, a Hemi would be a MUST as would be a true 3-Pedal ... Read More
