Hi arlene61. Yes, you can lease any car that you want without making any sort of capitalized cost reduction. Having said that, you will still have to pay things like your vehicle's first month's payment and acquisition fee at lease signing, unless you choose to roll them into your monthly payment. I would be happy to work up a sample lease payment on the exact Regal that you're interested in for ... Read More
Here you go cnote2. Ally's current base leaser rate and residual value for a 39 month lease of a 2011 Buick Regal Turbo T5 with 12,000 miles per year are 0.15% and 48%, respectively. The numbers for the T6 model are exactly the same. General Motors is currently providing a $3,300 cash incentive on 36 month leases of this car through Ally. I have leased for the last 11 years -- 3 Pontiac Grand Prix. Now I am looking to lease a Buick Regal - 39 month lease. Can I get a lease w/o putting down a fee of $1,000 to $2,500??? What would a good lease be for a loaded Buick Regal - 6 cylinder for 39 months? Thanks!!!
Here you go wallet45. Ally's current base lease rate and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 Buick Regal Turbo 7 with 12,000 miles per year are 0.15% and 49%, respectively. I cannot supply any additional information. However, the bulletins will be posted automatically on your car's service record by GM.
Can U give more info on the service bulletin such as numbers or references so that I can check with the service dept
Thanks for the reply. Glad the noise went away for you. Still there for me. It will be awhile until the first scheduled service but I will update after that...
I never did mention the noise to the dealership; howver, when the car was in for the 5K km LOF there were a couple of service bulletins posted on my car service records. One was a software update to the ECM and I do not know what the other one was for. The services were performed and I have never heard the noise since.
Our 2011 Turbo makes the same clunking noise from the RF wheel that you describe. Was dealership able to resolve the problem?
Hello ursvp2. Ally's February base lease rate and residual value for a 39 month lease of a 2011 Buick Regal T06 with 12,000 miles per year are 1.8% and 49%, respectively. You need to actually own or be currently leasing a competitive vehicle to qualify for the conquest cash. I don't know how strict GM is, but I suspect that you can't just say "Oh I own an XYZ mobile and ... Read More
Hi matthaney. Ally's January base lease rate and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 Buick Regal T01 or T02 with 12,000 miles per year are 1.8% and 53%, respectively. The lease rates for an otherwise identical 39 month lease are the same, but the residual values are 2% lower. The residual values for a lease with only 10,000 miles per year would be 1% higher. You definitely seem to have a negative view of the car overall. It sounds like you werent a fan before you looked at the car and really had little interest in it in the first place. Au contraire, my man. I eagerly looked forward to the Buick being released, and I still think it will do Buick very well. As I said before, I don't see what you see in it, ... Read More
You misunderstand me. Of course Sonata is not a premium car. Neither is the Fusion. The Sonata seems to me a better overall popular mid-size than the Fusion. Fusion needs an updated body, interior and a better 4 cylinder engine in order to best the Sonata. Neither are going to satisfy if you must have a premium car v. merely having the premium toys. The Acura TL is more competitive with ... Read More
Well, you raise an interesting question. The Impala is built on GM's old W-body platform, as is my '09 Allure/Lacrosse. As an older platform, it lacks a lot of the hi-tech geegaws that newer designs receive. It is also less rigid but trades that off for lighter weight. It may not be quite as good in a crash, though I do not know that for a fact. For what I would ... Read More
The TSX V6 is about 1 sec faster than the Regal 2.0T In the first place your acceleration numbers are absolutely not correct unless you are given to a bit of exaggeration. In actuality, the Acura TSX with the 6 achieves 0-60 in 5.9 sec while the Buick Regal does it in 7.5. Wait only a couple of months until the 2-liter, turbocharged model hits showrooms. We got an hour in a very preproduction version, and it was as good as the non-turbo was bad." "In our minds, there's no point to the non-turbo, 2.4-liter car. In Buick's mind, the non-turbo's $2,500 lower starting price, ... Read More
We just got a 2011 Buick Regal. There is a sound from the back area.We took off license plate, side panels in the trunk, spare wheel. Sounds like vibration from (?).Service department said it was the plate!! We thought something with heat sensor shield. Any idea's.
Buick is getting rid of trim names like CX and CXl next year. I wouldnt expect a base model car to be sold with the turbo. The turbo will remain a higher end model in all likelihood. The GS will be the range topping model and likely will have lots of standard equipment that is optional on the lower cars.
I took delivery of my new Regal, stone with cocoa/cashmere, on July 13, 2010 and have driven it 1500 km. Except as noted below, the car is a pleasure to drive. Build quality is excellent and the powertrain is very smooth. I traded in a 2008 Allure/LaCrosse and the switch from a V6 to an I4 is not a problem. Presumably, the six speed transmission helps. While I have adjusted to ... Read More

Car Man, I am looking into leasing a new 2011 Buick Regal CLX with RL5. They tell me the base lease rate is 2.1% which is consistent with what you have reported above. I am just wondering if the residual value could have ... Read More
Could you please advise of the money factors and residuals offered on a 2011 Buick Regal CXL with RL4, RL5, or RL6 in New York for a 36 month lease with 15,000 miles? Thanks so much! -B
Buick expects the 2.0 turbo to do mid-seven-second 0-60 mph runs. The 2.4 will manage mid-eights. Fuel economy is estimated to be about 20 mpg city/30 mpg highway for the the 2.4 automatic, the turbo automatic's dropping to about 18/29 mpg." It's funny how things go. You can easily fall in love with a new model and then after a while you begin to wonder if you made the right move. Further to item #7 of my post #90, after reviewing forums for other epsilon GM cars, Malibu, Aura, etc. it appears the knocking/clunking noise coming from the suspension when driving over bumps/washboard at slow speed is a common problem that affects some cars and may or may not be repairable. If I had known this in advance, I would not have purchased the car. However, I will discuss this with my ... Read More
Just watch-- push button start will be on more and more cars in the coming years. No more fumbling with keys as much. In fact, when I was at Buick dealer, he said the push button start will be on the 2012 regal. No one has seen official weights for the Cruze yet but its expected to be 3000-3300lbs. It's definitely not going to be faster than the Regal since power to weight ratios will be similar. As far as I am concerned, the 2011 Buick Regal is better than any car from the competition, whether it be Acura, VW, Audi, BMW, Infiniti, Hyundai or whatever. If you don't agree, so be it. Tough titty, as they say! Buy the inferior alternative and be quiet!
And given the pricing structure and exchange rate with the Euro (even though now it is a bit better than it was), it needs to be marketed against the A4 and TSX. In Europe, it competes more with the VW Passat and Ford Mondeo--both of which need to sell here for more than a typical Malibu or Fusion does (and explains why Ford does not import the Mondeo...although maybe they should...oh, ... To Car Man Do you have any leasing information about the 2011 Buick Regal..for example residual on 15K per year for 36 month lease..money factor etc..if not when do you think you will get it
Actually the only one that is available right now is the CXL with the base engine. It's nicely equipped but is not even remotely a "performance model." This CXL is probably going to be the volume model, but I haven't seen a single review of it anywhere (though the Turbo, which won't be available till fall, is getting lots of press).
i think the new Regal has some good potential. However, I wonder if they are making a mistake rushing out a higher priced performance model months before a more mainstream model is available? I'm thinking that could give the car a reputation as "too expensive" before the mainstream (and volume) model hits the showrooms?

The 2011 Buick Regal is on the way and I wanted to get things rolling here. I am very interested in this car (I never thought I would be interested in a Buick) but the initial reviews are outstanding and I love the look.
Here's a small review of the 2011 Buick Regal, including some photos and the original press release. "In Europe it is known as the Opel Insignia, but for the North American market General Motors decided to revive a name first used in 1973: the Buick Regal. Sales of the new sport sedan will begin in the second quarter of 2010, and its main competitors will be Acura TSX and Volvo S60. ... Read More

Today I viewed pictures of the 2911 Buick Regal , which will be introduced in the second quarter of 2010, on Edmunds and another site. Both the exterior and interior styling look excellent to me. The engine lineup will include or consist of (it's not clear to me which) GM's 2.4 four and a direct injection turbo four. The Regal will compete directly with an all-new Volvo S60 and the Acura ...
