BMW Financial Services' May buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 X3 35i with 15,000 miles per year are .00200 and 56% for non-returning customers. Just to clarify for others, my USAA price certificate says "Your price does not include dealer documentation (processing), tax, DMV,registration,title,licenses and other government fees, or dealer installed accessories" so the $549 Dealer Doc fee is over and above USAA price.     not a bad deal at all. btw keep in mind USAA price includes MACO and doc fees (but not leasing fee) so 47,500 is spot on.

    They're 2011's. BMW is releasing some 2012 models early, but the X3 is not one of them.

    To day I've been to my BMW dealer in Quebec City and the salesman told me that the new X3 is a 2011 model while I read on the net, at many places that it was a 2012 model. Who is right ?

    2011 X5 35d delivered on 12/18/10. I have taken it on two long trips as part of the break in period and now have 3K miles on it. The most recent trip which was mostly hwy driving at speeds of 75-80 mph I averaged 28.5. I noticed when I kept my foot out of it and was around 55-65 mph I was seeing numbers in the 29.5-31 mpg.     Hi bellatrix1. BMW Financial Services' buy rate (lowest possible) money factors on the 2011 X3 are .00205 for non-loyal and .00175 for loyal BMW customers.     Hi, I negotiated the price of a 2011 BMW X3 with the options I wanted for 37,500. Today I asked for the break down of figures for a lease. The money factor given to me was .00205. That seems a bit high to me. Can I negotiate the money factor? What would be a reasonable money factor? Thanks

    You are correct, both models are 56 percent, and both the same on the MF. My dealer was not showing a holiday credit but I am just noticing that there may be one, too, which makes it a pretty good lease.     Actually you can order now and the BMW website has the X3 models listed with their current lease specials. I just cannot figure out from the details what the lease factor is. I will ask my dealer and post what they tell me.

The selling prices of leased vehicles are negotiable, just as if you were paying cash for or financing them.     If you're looking to get into a brand spankin new 2011 BMW X3, leasing is not the way to go. The 54.8% residual value is probably about right since the vehicle is brand new (has it even hit the showrooms yet?) and the residual value in 3 years cannot be predicted.
