May Lease Numbers - Help Never Leased Before by cblainez71 on Tue May 10 10:40:26 PDT 2011

I'm looking at leasing a 2011 Hyundai Elantra GLS automatic for my business. I'm live Springfield, MO. The MSRP is $18,500. Dealerships in my area can't keep them in stock and as a result will not budge from MSRP. I've been quoted a price of $194 a month including tax on a 3 yr/12k mile lease. This would require $1865 due at signing and would have a residual price of $12,142. The residual seems high to me, but I've never leased a vehicle before so don't know what to expect. Not sure how much room there is to negotiate, especially given the current demand for the vehicle. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Recent Subaru Outback Purchase by jacobjacobson on Wed Apr 27 12:04:22 PDT 2011

Purchased a Subaru Outback from Dan D'Andrea at Grand Subaru in Bensenville. Got quotes by email. Looked good. Took a train from Springfield to Chicago. Purchased the car. He had all paperwork ready. A very pleasant experience. The business manager was very courteous too. Our train was late so we reached the car dealership at 7PM. 2 hrs later we had a brand new car. I have had it only for 2-3 days but everything looks as promised so far.

Great Buying Experience by graceo1 on Thu Apr 14 18:51:15 PDT 2011

We leased a Camry SE last week from Green Toyota in Springfield IL. I have to say that it was one of the best car buying experiences I have had in a while. Josh and Jenny in their internet department were exceptionally fast and professional in getting a deal done. Heck, Josh personally delivered the car to me in St Louis MO. I posted the deal I received in the Camry lease experience forum on page 38. They even outdid the deal they gave me to a friend of mine on a LE. On that deal they were at $1550 under invoice. They seem to be really aggresive in moving their older stock off the lot.

Re: Toyota Sienna 2011 XLE Sliding Door Problem [wythehsu] by ihatemysienna on Tue Apr 05 17:21:00 PDT 2011

As I said in my previous posts, Toyota IS aware of this problem. Do not let the salesperson convince you that you are the problem - you are NOT the problem!! The issue here is that the motors in these 2011 Siennas are defective. My dealer has (hopefully it is "had" at this point...) several 2011 Sienna customers with the identical sliding doors issue. My suggestion is that you print this posting, bring it to your dealer and insist that they deal with this issue. Have them contact Balise Toyota in West Springfield, MA. Ask for the service manager or the customer relations manager. They are all aware of this problem; they worked very hard to get this fixed for me. Keep pushing until they fix this for you...at their expense, not yours! Good luck.
