Whenever you get change in your great country you always get a stack of $1 bills because there is nothing larger or smaller. At least before the Tooney we had a $2 paper bill. He in the good ols US of A we do have a dollar coin and a two dollar bill. Admittedly neither is used alot, but they are in circulation. Packed away somewhere I have a 25 cent bill (now thats old money) And, our money comes in different colors (colours).........$5 bills are blue $10 are purple, $20 light green, $50 orange. Is that for replacing lost monopoly money? Seriously money shouldn't look like it came from Parker brothers.
saw a beauty at the olive garden tonight. Crowded, so most spots were in the back. They also lost a few to snow banks from the recent plowing. well, one row close in had an end spot with a big pile covering 1/2 the spot. So some dude in a Buick like Andre's (if it was you, I apologize!) decided they were too lazy to walk, so they took this spot. Car was about 5' off the ground in the front, and the RH side almost touching the pavement. nose pointing toward the sky on the left side. I have no idea how the fat lady got out of the passenger side without hitting the door, and couldn't tell is someone tried to get out of the drivers side! I mostly felt sorry for the guy parked next to them.
Howdy, I have a 2007 Santa Fe and I am tried of going to the dealer (Arapahoe Hyundai mostly)... Never been happy with their quality or attention to detail. So I'm looking for a good independent Hyundai shop in the Denver area, preferably south Denver metro... DTC, Hampden, Lone Tree, Englewood, Centennial, Littleton, Parker, etc... Have any recommendations? If not, can you recommend any other Hyundai-centric forums where I can post this message? (I am already a member of Hyundai-forums.com) Thanks...
My Christmas present was a 2007 EXL R&N with 8 miles on it, September 07 manufacture date. Looking at the paperwork, costs were: $29852.34 (including destination, doc fee, and ERT fee) $2090.00 state tax $15.00 county tax $143.00 title & plates Total OTD: $32100.34 That price also included remote start (installation and 3-yr warranty--dealer price $395+tax), interior/exterior protective coatings (paint/carpet/upholstery/rust/underbody/soundshield w/ 5-7-10 yr warranties--dealer price supposedly $1089+tax?), full tank of gas, and 2x/yr for 3 yrs free exterior detailing/paint job to keep it looking like new (dealer threw this in unprompted, I think to keep my husband from countering with a lower number). I know some say the coatings are a ripoff but I like the warranty peace of mind, for a reasonable upcharge (which I know $1K is not). We are on-street parkers and the Chicago weather can really do a number on your car, plus we've got 3 kids ages 3-11 and assorted friends of theirs that can really do some damage. Did my husband make out okay or should he have tried for lower? I made him read here first and get multiple internet quotes using the donkeypunch method, but he's not big on haggling.
I looked around portland, and got a great price from the guys at gresham honda. The price was 26,100 for an EX-L, just a little over 27k for an ex-l with RES. That was total out the door. The problem we found was that most dealers had "allready installed" a bunch of accessories (splash guards, wheel locks, roof bars, etc), that we were not interested in. Gresham had the splash guards, which were inflated maybe $50, but they had the best deal overall. I did the donkey punch method, and it ended up working through them the best. I will say that Wilsonville honda was excellent. The salesmen was the best, and their price was just as good. The only problem was that my wife wanted the DVD, and wilsonville honda did not have the right selection at the time (they only had it in burgundy, which was one of the two colors we were not interested in). So the guys at gresham were good, but parker johnston in wilsonville were excellent. Also, we got a great rate from American Honda. They first got it for us at 5.9 (with the 2500), and then lowered it to 5.75.
