Dear Christina: I started today Sunday January 30th, 2011 jump starting my Tahoe after only 1 day in the garage. My new battery is only 3 months old. I had to travel to Oceanside,CA about 50 miles from Home, I went there back and forth twice so I am pretty sure I put up around 200 miles in my Tahoe today and battery should be charged fully so after that I went with my family out for Dinner and on our way back I decided to fill my tank at a Gas Station and -guess what- my Tahoe did not started. It took me only 5 minutes to fill out my tank. Solution: Jump start my car again thanks to a guy who had an old 1970 model but -he said- runs better that latest new models. I had enough, I am emailing you the info you requested so you can please make sure I can finally get my car fixed. I am pretty sure this is a Car problem and not a battery problem. Please help. Regards. Mozartxxi
I own a 2006 chevy colorado and it has 38,000 miles on it. Vehicle ID # 1gcdt146468291478 The ABS Fault light has come on and off all the time. The other day in San Diego The front left brake started to sound like metal to metal. This could not be!!! I just had the truck checked out last week and had back brakes put on. The front brakes are good. So I pulled over shut the truck off pumped the brakes several times hoping this would help. I started the truck again and it was fine. I drove back to Oceanside scared out of my mind. I took the truck back to Express tire and now have to take the truck somewhere else to have the brakes system checked out. Im not sure what is going on with the ABS systems on these trucks but CHEVY needs to recall them. If anything happens to me or my Truck it has all been noted. I hope Chevy does something about this problem. PLEASE HELP ME"?
I had my transmission rebuilt and they corrected numerous issues. A new failure has shown up recently (still under warranty, but repair shop is not trying to fix my issue). When the car is cold (ie overnight, or sitting at work on parking lot for 8hrs), I frequently notice that when in 1st and when I need a fast takeoff (ie blind curve exiting work parking lot) that the transmission will slip, then I can begin to feel the clutches start grabbing and moving me forward. It's a bit unnerving to have that happen if you really need the power. The repair shop says I need to let the transmission warm up before going. Never did that before and he's had the transmission out 3 times after the rebuild. Can you say 4 times? I've already been to BBB on the last repair, I think it's time for Dept of Consumer Affairs and small claims. Anyone have a clue as to what is wrong with the transmission? I'm ready to take it to another shop that knows what they're doing. Thanks! Joe
Altima 2.5 S, convenience package. Mossy Nissan Oceanside, Salesman: Brandon San Diego County Tax rate 8.75% Window Price: 23,995 Rebate: -2,000 OTD Price: 21,522.25 (includes TTL..) I think it's not super cheap but I am happy with it. Another lady got a Altima 2.5 S in black, no package like less than 20,000, since she was negotiating kinda loud..
Is La Nina cooling San Diego's weather? The average monthly temperature, so far, is 65.9 degrees at San Diego's Lindbergh Field, almost five degrees below normal. This could turn out to be the coolest July since 1933. There's a patchy marine layer along the coast this morning, which will likely prevent Lindbergh from rising above 71 today. The normal high is 77. It's been cool elsewhere, too. The high temperature in Vista Wednesday as 73, the "lowest maximum" for July 28th since a 75 reading in 2003. And Oceanside Harbor's high was 65, which was also the lowest maximum for the date. (It broke the previous record of 66, set in 2002.) It may be a warm year in some places. Not South America, Australia, Africa, the oceans of the World and San Diego. So Washington DC can eat your heart out, I hope they roast to a golden brown. We are headed to a Global cooling period if the ocean temp readings are accurate from NASA. Just flip that hockey stick over.
