Re: NJ deals [3under5] by heathernj on Tue Oct 12 04:58:15 PDT 2010

I was wondering if going to Phili would be worth it, we are just outside of Morristown. And no, I am a customer and not car sales person. I did speak with Garden State Honda last night and got my best offer yet, she quoted $36,902 as the invoice (slightly off) and MSRP $41,755 (again, off but I figured I could deal with that later), her offer was "$500" above invoice so with destination of $780 and $500, the sales price is $38,182. I have an e-mail into her now because she is supposed to e-mail me lease payments, etc. to clarify the MSRP "misstatement" and see what she says. Their doc fee is high at $299. The woman told me that getting a Touring in Smokey Topaz was no problem, that they have them in stock....and told me that they'd absorb the last payment on my current lease. She had me thinking this was a great deal until she mentioned absorbing the last payment, then I felt like something was fishy. We'll see what she comes back with today. I wish the buying experience could just be straight forward!

Re: offered 16100+tag for 2010 Corolla S AutoTransm [kaicary] by skybaker05 on Sat Jun 26 15:12:35 PDT 2010

Yep, I'm right around there as well. I got my Corolla LE auto (CF, CK, EM, QA) $16,543.70 OTD in Morristown, NJ w/ college rebate and lifetime oil changes. Didn't want to pay $700 more for the S, but glad you made out well. Cars.Overstock.com made my life a lot easier.

Re: what is the best OTD for this deal? [peterjin] by skybaker05 on Thu Jun 24 21:59:47 PDT 2010

Wow, an internet quote only got me to $15,600, including destination, but not including taxes, doc fees, and such for a 2010 Toyota Corolla LE auto here in Morristown, NJ. Did your price include a college grad discount? I'm looking to buy a car by Sunday so any one else buying this month, any chance you guys are getting better numbers? Thanks!
