Just bought a new 08 Accord EX-L with manual transmission from Bankston Honda in Lewisville. After an initial horrible visit to McDavid in Frisco, I was skeptical about a visit to another dealership. The staff at Bankston could not have been more friendly. I arrived first thing in the morning and gave them an offer of $24,500 for the new vehicle and asked for $2,000 for my trade, a 1998 Mazda 626. Both offers were accepted without argument. This was $3,000 less than the OTD price at McDavid. The vehicle I wanted was not on the lot so they agreed to order it for me at no extra charge. At the time of signing, there was no hidden fees and no surprises. The entire process took under an hour. I would highly recommend this dealership.
Hi, I am looking to buy a Honda EX-L with DVD (RES), sent emails to the dealers and got 2 quotes : McDavid of Irving: 28,692 + TTL Bankston Honda, Lewisville: 29396 + TTL Has anybody purchased EX-L recently in DFW (Dallas Fortworth) area, can you please share your dealer contact/ config details. I also took quotes for Sienna but dealers in this are are quoting prices about $2000 more than what people are getting here on edmunds.com, this is after cashback rebate. Thanks
Just wanted to share the final price i received today. Did some standard email negotiation and got invoice price quoted from Bankston Honda in Lewisville. Called David Mcdavid in Frisco to see if they would match and they did. The wife had been in to them a few times to look so i felt obligated to give them a chance. No hidden fees or BS in general other than the add ons. I had him down to $750 from $1600 for them but luckily they ended up having another Odyssey without any add-ons so i took that instead. $31985 EX-L $180 Doc fee +TTL Pretty happy based on what i had been quoted earlier. I'm sure time of the year and month helped a lot. I probably could have pushed a bit harder or gone between dealers but it wasn't worth it for a few hundred dollars. By the way, Bankston said they would not come off MSRP on the Touring model so looks like those are still in high demand around here.... I'll check back if anyone has any questions.
Lewisville Honda near Dallas gave me drive out price of $26500 for EX-L W/Navigation(2007 model). I dint want that as I am looking for 2008 model.
It listed at $31,611 (including protection pkg, tint, and moonroof visor) but paid $26,289 plus TT&L (discount of $5,322). They also gave me $14K for my 2008 Civic EX-L sedan trade-in which is excellent according to KBB.com. I had a excellent experience working with the internet sales staff of Bankston Honda in Lewisville, TX. They don't put alot of dealer adds on their cars and were able to remove that dreaded pin stripe with no problem. I highly recommend them.
