I agree with your reasoning on the Buick vs. Olds question - the Buick is better styled inside and out and I like the look much better, but I drove a '76 Regal with that engine and couldn't believe how gutless it was. The same seller has a number of other interesting cars for sale down there in Lakeland. I encountered this one last week and fell in love with it: '67 Pontiac Executive The only thing that would make it better for me would be if it had a different color interior than black. Beautiful car though.

pricing 2010 Genesis 4.6 new Florida by richt5 on Sat Oct 02 12:23:51 PDT 2010

Found an ad online from Lakeland Hyundai fl. 2010 - new genesis 4.6 base model for $32998.00 . Called dealer last sunday, talked to a girl - internet manager. Explained Ad and asked for a price, she said give her a few minutes , she would call back. Almost a week goes by no call back. So yesterday I call again , ask for internet manager, I get this guy , explain the situation , he says the girl I talked to does not even work in sales , but he will take care of me. Again I told him about the ad, model I wanted and I wanted a price. He said no problem, call you back in a few minutes. 5 hours later he calls back, we sold that car in the ad , but I have quite a few for $43900.00.I asked if he did a search for a base 4.6 , he says oh ya we are working on it . I said it only takes 5 minutes or less-- not 5 hours. No reply. I told him I found 3 base 4.6 in Florida while I was waiting for him . No reply. Then he says oh ya it was kind of a promotion on the 4.6 in the ad. I said you mean you never had that car for sale at that price. No reply. So dont go to Lakeland Hyundai in Fl.----- Im working my own 3 leads on the 4.6 sedans I found. Thanks for your patience.

SamsVans: We obtained an 07 Touring with DVD & Navi (Nimbus/OIive), door edge guards, wheel locks, pin striping, and wheel well paint (plus 2 full tanks of gas and 2 free oil changes) from Kuhn Honda in Tampa (using quote from Regal Honda Lakeland, who has lower dealer fee $299): $32, 682.57 (includes $635 destination)+ $599.99 dealer fee + $2065 FL tax = $35,348 OTD. I thought this was a great price. I did purchase a 5 year, unlimited mile road hazard warranty for $280. Though, I am always very leary, I was assured it will cover the PAX tires for hazards. My salesman was great; very personable, not high pressure. You can email me for contact info for both Kuhn and Regal: honda2004tampa@hotmail.com

You could try Regal in Lakeland too. I bought there in Feb. as Crown/Ferman were still working off deposits and sticker.

Nightcrawlir, I think you could get a little lower from Regal Honda in Lakeland... their closing costs were cheaper than the dealerships in Orlando or Tampa... I'd talk to mike in the internet department to get your quote prior to the travel... They had a good selection but not as many as Coggin in Orlando, which had a ton still... they just wouldn't budge quite as much on their prices. Good luck!
