RE; 2007 HONDA ODYSSEY WITH OR WITHOUT RES. Does anyone have prices in the Greensboro, winston salem north carolina area
texxmexx- Don't go for the 2WD!! Did you forget the WNY winter already? :) I also live in WNY. Last week I leased a 2007 LS model with equipment group 2, power seat, and sun/sound/entertainment pkg. MSRP was 30,360 and sale price was 28,490 ($1870 discount) There was $5700 in hidden/unadvertized lease rebates available in addition to the discount. This included the GMAC lease cash, conquest, and a couple of other rebates as well. The residual is 18,413 which must be heavily incentivized by GMAC because I know that number is way out of line with what the truck will actually be worth in three years. All said, it came to $219.61 per month (39 months/10,000 mi. per year) with everything included...first payment, security, plates, tax, etc. I didn't put a penny down except for the fact that I redeemed $2,500 from my GM credit card card to cover the taxes and fees. This deal also included one year of complimentary oil changes. Shop around. Call Shults Chevrolet in Jamestown. I believe they are running this deal through the end of the month. www.shultsauto.com has their inventory and the TV clip for the current Trailblazer promo.
We were on our way to Jamestown (it is on a major highway I-86) to a doctor's appointment with our 7 year old son. Our van suddenly geared up and then we lost all acceleration. We are thankful that there was not a semi-truck or car behind us because we would of definitly been in a accident. We had no previous warning. I am gonna try and contact someone higher up in the Ford line. For as many of these that are going bad and us that have no warranty that is alot of money to pay out of pocket not to mention we are all risking our lives that have this mercury montery.
I purchased a new GLS 4cyl and had difficulties the first two days with shift lock release on the transmission. The car ended up at the dealership for 32 days, difficul diagnosis and time required in obtaining parts from S. Korea. Just received word that through BBB Lemon Law procedure that I would be supplied a replacement vehicle, which is to arrive in a few days, almost 4 months since I took ownership. Throughout the month of diagnosis and repair and a few return trips for other issue, I could not have been happier with the treatment I received at the Shults Hyundai dealership in Jamestown,NY. They initially had difficulty with the problem as I described it, until they recreated the situation, overnight time period, and experienced the same problem. The service writers, service manager, and mechanics seemed to take an interest in my problem and seemed to go the "extra mile" to make the best of a poor situation by obtaining loaner vehicles ( 4 over the month long situation) quickly, giving me updates and detailed explanations of the steps and difficulties they were having. The only problem, the first day they came to my home with a replacement vehicle and took my car, then returned it six hours later "all fixed". For this "repair" there was no work order writen, which came up at the Lemon Law procedure, it did not impact the result as the determining factor was the excess of 30 days out of service. A Word to the wise, Document everything in the beginning!
