”We suspect the Volt was more the victim of the fire than the cause,” he said. GM may have to eat this one. The Volt sitting in the burnt out garage started burning not plugged in. I think Toyota is smart to steer clear of Li-Ion batteries. The Hartford Courant reports that the fire reported on in the video above, which first started in a garage holding a new Chevrolet Volt and a converted electric-powered Suzuki Samurai, re-ignited this morning. According to the report “The rekindle this morning really adds to the mystery,” Barkhamsted Fire Marshal Bill Baldwin said today. Representatives from General Motors, the vehicle’s manufacturer plan, are scheduled to arrive in Barkhamsted this evening to examine the car, Baldwin said. The hybrid electric car was not plugged in this morning when the fire rekindled, Baldwin said. Investigators still haven’t linked either the fire or the rekindle to either vehicle, but GM’s investigators should be able to help narrow down the cause of the fire. http://www.courant.com/business/hc-hybrid-car-possible-fire-20110418,0,94353.sto- ry

I live in Manchester. The dealer is in East Hartford. You are right, I see some MDX's with Tech/Enter package for 28K ,although the mileage is 55K+ . I will look around further . Thanks for your advice.
BTW, do you live near Woodbury? If so, have you heard of Millhouse Antiques and Gardens? Woodbury is about 50 miles from me. I live in the Hartford area. Have not heard of Millhouse Antiques, but I'm not really into antiques. My furniture was mostly bought 40 some years ago, so it's antique to me. :D
I would suggest using True car.com. Overstocked .com cars, or American Express in locating a dealer to buy from. I checked the price for a 2011 AWD M37 in the 06120 zip code area (Hartford Ct. ) and was quoted $43,813 or $6,262 off sticker. This price was with no added options. I used the American Express site and Truecars .com. site. I was able to use Overstocked cars .com last year to special order a Toyota Sequoia. I had three dealers competing for the sale offering deals with in $100 dollars of each other. Good luck
