Re: A New Record [mako1a] by driver100 on Thu Jul 01 06:24:38 PDT 2010

Right of Way is determined by Gross Tonnage and Number of Wheels I would agree about "Right of Way" but for accident avoidance "BETTER HANDLING + MORE HP = MORE SAFETY (when used properly) Yesterday we went to see a great play about an hour away in Port Dover on Lake Erie. On the way home we stopped for a delicious ice cream....I had Peanutbutter Fudge by the way. Getting back on to the 2 lane - 60 mph highway was a challenge as there were few spaces. Finally, a car was turning into the ice cream place, so I had a window of opportunity to turn right and get into traffic without interfering with the next car. I was capable of getting up to 60 mph in less than 8 seconds, so traffic just kept moving....and that is one factor in making roads safer, not interfering in the traffic flow. I would probably be still there waiting if I had a K-Car. :P

North of Dover, several developments sprung up over time and I always wondered, where do those people work? Wilmington, Philly, Aberdeen (Proving Ground).

i have been to Delaware many times starting in the late 90's for the races at Dover and usually staying in Rehoboth. North of Dover, several developments sprung up over time and I always wondered, where do those people work?

This another fraud/incompetent? by kernick on Tue Mar 23 09:56:17 PDT 2010

Where there's smoke ther's fire. http://www.usatoday.com/money/autos/2010-03-23-toyota23_ST_N.htm Also to be at the press conference is Frank Visconi, a former police officer from Dover, Tenn., who says his 2007 Toyota Tacoma accelerated and crashed in a field in June 2007. He says it was his fifth incident in the vehicle and says his foot was always on the brake. He says when he tried to get the truck fixed, he was told no problem could be found. "I'm not an electrical engineer, but when you put your foot on the brake, it's not supposed to accelerate," he says.

25,000 miles and the 20" tires on my 2008 cx9 gt are pretty much shot. Not looking forward to the cost of replacements.
