I'm sooooo ready to trade this thing in and get a lower payment! I still owe quite a bit but I'm trying to come up with a timeframe for when I might be able to break even. Can someone please give me an approx trade-in value for the 2008 and the 2007 (figure this might help me determine the estimated trade in a year since I never drive it anymore and the model years were similar). Thanks! Also, I did some checks on BlackBook, TMV, KBB etc and the trade values were around 14K. But when I looked at current sales at local dealers and Autotrader, these are running around 25K asking price. The base model Z went up about 3K recently so that may be why but I wonder why trades are still so low. Location: Jacksonville, FL 32226 Year/Make/Model: 2008 Nissan 350Z Enthusiast Body Style: 2Dr Engine: 3.5 V6, 6MT Driveline: RWD Mileage: 45000 Color: Black/Black Major Options: Side Airbags Condition: This car is clean inside and out. I'm having the bumper and hood touched up professionally for any road chips. I used to drive to Charlotte and Orlando weekly, thus the mileage. Now I work from home! Other: No damage except some minor wheel scuffs, no insurance claims, drives as good as the day I bought it.
I recall you had no comment on the Sonata recalls whatsoever back then, until asked directly. As usual, you were doing nothing but bashing every GM product then...on a GM site. Did you initiate a similar comment on a Hyundai Edmunds site about those Sept. '10 recalls? I think it's a rational question. Bringing only the GM recall up without mentioning a competing product for context, shows 'the right side of your face' as Agnes Moorhead would say in my favorite old flick, "Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte". A little balance goes a long way.
Wow, what a differance from what I was able to get my car for (17300) in upstate NY to your price! I guess my sales guy was correct telling me what a great deal he was giving me. So far I am loving this car and averaging 50 MPG according to the gauge in the car. Hope you enjoy yours as well.
I just purchased a 2011 Honda Insight base model in the San Francisco Bay area. The price was $18,430, with an out the door cost of just over $20,000
I live near Charlotte. It may be worth your time to contact: Lauren Salinas or Eddy McKenney-Salinas Honda 800-665-0013 I haven't seen anyone yet on this Forum that has gotten a better deal than they gave me in October on a 2011 EX-L. However, the parts shortage and the fact that they sell their Odysseys very quickly may have caused the pricing to go up. Gas Prices may help change that. Tell them Jim Graham referred you, and let me know if ya'll are able to make a deal. Good Luck and be agressive. I think you'll find them great to work with. No BS.
