That's the one, from Carson Honda. Scratch that I guess. I guess the only alternative may be to buy new. Honda seems to have a 0.9% apr until 5/1/11. How about a good dealer in OC? How is Honda World?
If the car you speak of is in the city of Carson at a Honda dealer (get me?), I urge you to tread carefully. Test drove after getting runaround twice there. Definitely needs new CV joints. Try tight turns with modest acceleration. Also was told two weeks ago the only wear was 2 inch long driver door scratch. It's not there anymore and there is strange "movement" to the sparkle fleck coat on that door. Went there to test drive one week ago after being told it was there- it wasn't. They said the bumper was being replaced and if you do a nation wide Craigslist search, the same car and pictures show up at a Texas dealership. Something is rotten in Denmark.
Yep, flathead engine, plain steel wheels, different tire sizes (never radials!) and all the other classic stuff they do..."carson top" (isn't that what they call them?), mail slot backlight, and one of those nifty period Italian superchargers. I sure hope they don't use that music for a backdrop on the film.
Oh, yeah! I have a bunch of money lying around so I can casually stroll down to my hybrid/electric dealer and buy one of these glorified golf carts! Yeah, that is kind of a "let 'em eat cake" type of attitude. As for the dude with the ten kids, well to quote Vicki Lawrence in Mama drag... Well Good LORD!!! Doesn't anybody watch Johnny Carson anymore!" :P
Nebraska for two weeks? You had better take lots of DVD's and good books. You can visit the house where Johnny Carson grew up from age 8. Actually born in Iowa but raised in Norfolk Nebraska: before moving to Norfolk, Nebraska at the age of eight. At the age of 12 Carson found a book on magic at a friend's house and immediately purchased a mail-order magician's kit. He debuted as "The Great Carsoni" at 14 and was paid $3; many other performances at local picnics and country fairs followed
