Recent acquisitions, both bargains: Matchbox #10 Foden Sugar Container. Issued late 1960, this model is an early one as the box type seen behind it was changed in 1961,and this box is tough to find. Had some superdetailing that I mostly removed, got it for the price of an unboxed model: Matchbox #27 Bedford Low Loader, issued in 1956. This is a tiny model, truck and trailer total just about 3" long, it is very delicate and finely cast. I already have it boxed, but found a bargain buy it now price, and with the Groupon $15 for $7 ebay certificate, got it for just over $10 delivered. Near mint, just a couple tiny chips:
I have a 2011 Santa Fe 4 cyl, and the owners manual says that when the ECO light is on we are "driving for economy". I've noticed that the only time the light of off is when the vehicle is in reverse, neutral, manual (or Sportronic..whatever Hyundai calls the manual shift mode), park, and idling at a traffic light for more than a few seconds. Even under hard acceleration (auto shifting at 5k RPM) the light stays on. I hardly consider THAT driving for economy. I was hoping that it would function like the economy "gauges" in the Honda CR-Z (the entire dash hue transitions from green to red in real time) and Ford Fusion Hybrid (vine grows and loses leafs). Hyundai should have saved the money they spent on engineering this stupid light and kept the dual exhaust from the 07-09 SF.
Thanks, with your information, I found I have the TSB itself, which I originally obtained from the Bedford County Library (Indiana) online. (They have since removed these TSBs from public access.) TSB EG024-04, July 1, 2004 Title: M.I.L. “ON” DTC P0420 [Note: M.I.L. = Malfunction Indicator Lamp = Check engne light] Models: ‘02 – ‘04 Camry (2AZ-FE) (Non PZEV) Some 2002 - 2004 model year Camry vehicles equipped with the 4 cylinder (2AZ--FE) engine may exhibit a M.I.L. “ON” condition with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0420 (Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold, Bank 1) in the Engine Control Module (ECM) (SAE term: Powertrain Control Module/PCM). The ECM (PCM) logic has been modified and a redesigned catalyst has been provided. MODEL Camry (2AZ-FE) PLANT / PRODUCTION CHANGE EFFECTIVE VIN TMM Kentucky Line 1: 4T1BE3#K#4U323000 TMM Kentucky Line 2: 4T1BE3#K#4U869000 Tsutsumi Japan: JTDBE3#K#40283686 The repair procedure in this TSB is similar to TSB No. EG013-04 “Excessive Sulfur Dioxide Odor.” The recalibration of the ECM (PCM) should only be performed ONCE. Procedures: Recalibrate Engine ECM (PCM) R & R Catalytic Converter Assembly All 2002 - 2004 model year vehicles equipped with manual transmissions require replacement of the catalytic converter assembly only. Applicable Warranty*: This repair is covered under the Toyota Specified Major Emission Control Component Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 96 months or 80,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle’s in-service date. * Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer’s specific complaint. This isn't the complete TSB, but being in pdf form, I copied the most important portions for people to move forward with any complaints. Hope this helps!

We purchased our 2005 QX56 from Infiniti dealer near Kings Island. Did the deal over the phone and traded in our Expedition at a good price. I thought that dealer, at that time, was very good. With all that said, INFINITI is no Lexus. I have a Lexus and valet service for maintenance is available wherever you brought the car. Also many of the dealer perks are NOT dealer specific. People do move. Infiniti perks ARE dealer specific. Only get all the nice stuff from the dealer you buy it from. I was DEFINITELY treated differently than if had brought the car at the local dealer. SO keep all that in mind before you drive 3 hours to get a deal on a car. I have been looking for a deal on 2011 QX since July. The end of the month/end of the year helped in making the deal. I also locked in the 2.9% before that seems to have ended. The dealer had to ship a car in that was Blk with wheat interior. Your best deal should be for one on the lot. Check out inventory at all local dealers and start shopping around end of the month. I got my deal at Infiniti of Bedford in Cleveland. Their initial offer on the car was OK, but you can always do better. The cars are leaving the lots pretty quick. The one I test drove was gone the next morning. QX with touring pkg is hard to find. Reading all posts and my own experience, you should be able to get $4000 off of MSRP of around $70k. Check edmunds etc for dealer Invoice and try for $1000 over invoice. That should be good for everyone. Hope this helped.
