Pleasant Purchase Experience in Massachusetts by dpmeersman on Mon Oct 22 05:23:51 PDT 2007

Purchased my 08 EX-L V6 Sedan almost a month ago and have only favorable impressions of the experience. Bought from Lundgren Honda in Auburn,MA and from the knowledgeable salesman to the actual delivery I can think of nothing negative to report on. Initially I was told I would be waiting about 3 weeks for my car to be delivered right from Honda Ohio but 3 days after I put a down payment on the car I received a call saying they located one identical to what I had ordered in Connecticut and it had already been delivered and they were preping it and I could pick it up in 24 hours. Paid around $1,200 below sticker. This is my 5th new car purchase and the least stressful of them all.

Talk about bad tweets by driver100 on Thu Mar 17 18:08:55 PDT 2011

Man Fired for tweet about Chrysler AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — A Chrysler contractor who posted an obscene tweet on the Chrysler brand's official account says he's sorry his four-letter flub has cost his firm the account and him his job. Scott Bartosiewicz's Twitter posting from last week read: "I find it ironic that Detroit is known as the (hash)motorcity and yet no one here knows how to (expletive) drive." It was meant to appear on his personal account, but Bartosiewicz mistakenly sent it to the Chrysler brand's feed while he was stuck in traffic on Interstate 696. The error resulted in the 28-year-old Ferndale resident's dismissal and contributed to Chrysler's decision not to renew its contract with Bartosiewicz's employer, New Media Strategies, a Virginia-based marketing firm. "As a Detroiter, it was cool to know the work I was doing was part of this larger comeback for Detroit and the Big Three," Bartosiewicz told the Detroit Free Press. "I poured all my heart and soul into that. It's unfortunate it's all being overshadowed by 140 characters." Rest of the story

You will. Be strong. And come back to this forum for support if you have to! These guys are great (esp Hondaownersam, but don't tell him because I don't want him to have a bloated ego ;) ). The funny thing is, Auburn Honda called us back today, a week after we went into their dealership and were told that there was no way someone online could have been offered a Civic LX for $15k; that the lowest they could go would be $16k; and that the quote for $15.5k MUST be for the VP; they even pulled out an "invoice" to show us that they'd be losing money on the deal; blah, blah, blah. Unfortunately when they called today, we were busy and didn't pick up the phone, but I would have loved to give those guys an earful. Anyway, I digress... What I want to tell you is that Roseville Honda called us yesterday or the day before to "check in," and when we told them that we drove to Livermore last Sunday and the deal we made, they said that they could have beaten that. Umm, okay. Why didn't you when we gave you the chance??? So, if Livermore doesn't work out, try Roseville Honda, and tell them what I told you. Maybe they'll be standup guys and give you the deal they said they would have given us had we gone back to them.
