I just had a nice experience with a salesperson in Athens, Ohio with Don Wood Toyota. This salesperson was very willing to go the extra mile to make a deal happen. Please call them, I believe they have a nice 2011 Sienna Limited AWD for sale.
Last trip to Birmingham AL I got 28.9 MPG. The computer in the car said I was getting 26.4 so I was kind of disappointed until I figured MPG myself. I am very happy. A lot of HWY mileage. Coming up from SC, through Athens, and through Atlanta was quite a trip. NOT all HWY but most. Loaded with two people, and luggage. FYI car drove great, shifted great, love the pick up. A real looker. No problems. Sound system is really good. A real pleasure to drive. Pretty good investment so far.
. Perhaps some day we'll get together and test drive that GLK and Town Car I would love to do that one day. But, really, I think you will be much happier with the SRX than you would have been with the Town Car. It is pretty remarkable too, because the guy who owned it before you, loved it...that's why he got a new one, and it only has about one years mileage on it. But, the real kicker is...you got about $8000 for a 2003 Explorer that they are going to lose on big time. There must be a huge difference in the ride and handling of your new car, compared to the old one. The trip was fantastic and I think going on a cruise ship was the way to do it. Rome is so busy and interesting, Rhodes is beautiful, Athens and Ephesus are fascinating, Kusadasi Turkey is a beatuful port city, and the magnificent pyramids and sphinx were the hilight of the trip. However, the most fascinating part to me was the poverty of Egypt. 40% of the people live on less than $2 a day. Most of the homes and the apartments are crumbling, and there is garbage piled everywhere. We all have to be greatful, for the lives we can live in our great countries. I did not see one Cadilac in 16 days! Typical street scene, from Alexandria:
No traffic jams in this small town unless you go downtown. The mpg was city but I probably should point out I live in the country outside the big city of Athens GA. I'll continue to give MPG as I go. We have about 900 miles on it so far. Needless to say we don't drive much. :o)
My Toyota is a 2003 SR5, is automatic, red, bucket seats, with jumper seats in the back, AM/FM, CD player also with a factory cassette player, So folks no XM radio with this vehicle. This Toyota also comes with spray in bed line and a nice roll up cover for the back. The cover cost me 700 dollars, it's not a cheap one with locking tail gate. Soft tint on all the windows with exception of the back windows has dark tint. No accidents, scratches, or door dents of any kind. Always serviced at Toyota dealer locally, oil changes, transmission flushed, etc. Has NEVER pulled anything. Anyone interested in my truck please write me at billforgrace@yahoo.com or njinks@yahoo.com I will sell the truck for 11,200.00...(not negotiable)......that might sound expensive but this is the last year they made the little truck that small. The same year they did make the truck bigger but this one is the smallest. Drives like new and still has a hint of new truck smell. All my vehicles are garage kept. The transformation to a bigger truck took place this year. After this year the truck was bigger with a bigger engine and got bigger as the years went on, offset was MUCH worse MPG. It's almost impossible to buy this kind of truck in this shape with this documented miles. Buyer will not be disappointed that I assure you. Thanks, Bill in Athens GA.
