Sheehy Honda in Alexandria in the internet department matched the lowest price from Lynchburg Honda. I emailed near and far. I think Sheehy has a matching policy or something like that. Financing from Apple Federal Credit Union 1.9% with an extra point off for direct deposit. 31741.47 includes: mud flaps, roof rails, cross roof rails, all weather floor mats and folding cargo mat (priced at $924) - I wanted those and only those accessories. processing fee 389 3% va tax 963.91 dealer business license tax 54.62 license fee 99.50 OTD = 33,248.50 I think we did pretty good. I am about to begin shopping for an EX-L in the New Orleans area. Does anyone have any recent experience with prices and at which dealerships in this area? I also travel to Baton Rouge and Alexandria, LA and Conway, AR often and could purchase there if the price was better. Any recommendations or experience to share? Thanks, GHR

I just got the EX from them yesterday and couple of other people here did too get similar deals, so I don't think anyone is fabricating information here. I also don't think much of the theory that the cars may be damaged or something as for me, they did not have the color and trim that I wanted and they got it from another dealership in the area and did not charge me any extras for it. I don't know how they do it, but it is for real. May be they are not that greedy and are happy to make their holdbacks on the cars. Btw, another dealership full of sleezy salesmen is Landmark Honda in Alexandria. They tried to tell me that the financing and the cash incentive cannot be combined and the dumb fool tried to show me a piece of paper from their dealership which had all the prices listed and the title of that page said these prices were applicable with the special financing, he was still tryiing to deny it after I pointed it out to him that the sentence "Plus special interest financing" means that I can get both.
